  • Apple Fiscal Q1: Eye-Popping Results To Come [View article]
I recently purchased two iPhone 6+'s through Verizon. The size of iOS8 pushed me into the 64GB category. This has to push AVS price dramatically higher? If your projection of 68M is correct - Apple shares are on track for $130 (Technical Analysis).
I'm curious to how many customers switched from Samsung to Apple due to larger screen size? I'm seeing much more of this in the past 3 months than ever before.

    Long Apple.

  • Is It Time To Short Apple? [View article]
A couple of issues with Doug Kass: 1) ASP 6/6+ is projected to increase 13% in 2015 ($685) due to increasing storage. 2) Apple is also projected to generate $65B in 1Q sales. The past two April Shareholder meetings produced major financial engineering. The amount of cash generated in1Q will allow for another "cash to shareholder" opportunity. 3) ApplePay, Beats/iTunes refresh, iHealth and IBM revenues will grow and lessen revenue declines between new product intro's.

No doubt profit takers will put pressure on Apple shares. Doug Kass would love to re-create the same scenario Apple shareholders would like to forget about in 2012.

  • What's Driving Our $120 Price Estimate For Apple? [View article]
Apple share price is largely dependent on Mr. Market - short term. Long term- what's not to like about a company selling product as fast as they can make it. ASP moving from $605 to $685is a 13% move. Apply that to the law of large numbers.

    Long Apple!

  • Why Estimates Of A 1 Trillion Market Cap For Apple Are Still Far-Fetched: Fundamental And Algorithmic Analysis [View article]
The last time Apple experienced a meteoric rise and eventual top - sharp corrections like yesterday's took place. It created excellent trading opportunities. The higher Apple moves - the more pressure there will be on January EA. Violent moves took place 2 weeks ahead of EA. If you are long Apple - make sure you are ready. The past two days is just a warm up.

    Long Apple!

  • Will Apple Go Too Far With Beats Music? [View article]
As a long term Apple shareholder - I'm pleased with TC's strategic moves to increase the strength and value of the Apple ecosystem. Beats, Apple Pay, iBeacon, iHealth and integration into a wearable device keep me feeling positive about Apple.

    Execution is always key.

    Long Apple

  • Update: Apple Q4 '14 Earnings [View article]
This article is a bit premature. Apple trades to a well established script. It runs up into product introductions, sells off the day of product intro, usually trades down for the remainder of 3Q (share buybacks mitigated this move) and runs up into the holiday season. This product cycle has been no different. The best is yet to come once options positions are unwound!

    Long Apple into the holidays.

Michael - you've been wrong so many times. Throw another one on the pile. The watch will be a hit.

  • 3 Reasons The Apple Launch Disappointed [View article]
Anything short of bringing Steve Jobs back from the dead isn't going to be good enough. Let's see how sales/margins do in the 4Q? I shielded my position with protective puts. My toughest decision will be - how far will Apple pull back? I placed my Put position when Apple was +3.25 yesterday.

  • Apple iPhone 6: iPhone 5 Déjà Vu Or New Highs? [View article]
I have accumulated a rather large position in Apple since it's rebound from $395 pre-split. It's difficult to project how Apple stock will perform - however, the company is being managed differently from a shareholder's perspective. I've purchased the October 95 Puts as insurance against my position. If the stock rockets higher - I'll gladly give up the $1.80 per contract. I find this a better option than writing covered calls. If Apple drops to $80 - I can stick my position to someone at $95 and consider my next move. We'll find out soon!

  • Apple: A Record Quarter That Slightly Disappointed [View article]
Flyerguy 1300: The real test for TC is the design, production, marketing and launch of a new product. We'll find out this fall. However, the iPhone 6 will be a big time revenue and profit generator for Apple. How many iPhone users are over the age of 40? A larger screen will move many iPhone 4 & 4S owners to pony up for a larger screen size.

And TC has another $40B to protect shareholders on the downside with share buy back. This stock is going higher!

  • Here's The Evidence For What Stock Splits Really Signal [View article]
During the 80's and 90's when the stock market soared to new heights, it was common for stocks to split 2-1 or 3-1. It's only been recently we've witnessed stocks in the 300,400,500's. Apple splitting it's stock is fundamentally sound. How many Apple gadget users would love to own Apple stock and increase customer loyalty? They can at $90+ per share - not $645. How do you even own Samsung? Any loyalty there? TC is getting it now.

  • A Sneak Peek At Apple's Earnings [View article]
Apple continues to be a great company. However, Mr. Market does not think highly of Tim Cook. This investor would like to have TC pull an unexpected move and announce a new product or software build out on an earnings conference call. Unfortunately, the market sells off Apple - no matter what the earnings number. Apple beat on the top and bottom line last quarter and still sold off 8%. The play is to write covered calls against your Apple common stock position.

We have yet to witness TC surprise the market. I seriously doubt we will see him do different this quarter. Apple will trade down hopefully with a floor of $500. This being said - it will be time to get long Apple around 1st week in June. I'm counting on another 75-100 point run based on larger screen iPhone 6 hype.

  • Apple: Yes To iPlay - Hybrid Console/Streaming TV Product [View article]
If this is an Apple Bear Market - bring it on. I bought Apple around $400. I get a robust dividend and trade covered calls every earnings report. What's not to like about this situation? 30%+ in 2013

  • Apple: It's Panic Time [View article]
Apple does not trade on fundamentals any longer - it's more of a trading vehicle. Bill should have come out with this article 30 days ago. The charts suggest Apple just made a double bottom?
