Don't get me wrong, nobody can know these things. But, loaded phrases like, "Apple investors, put on your CRASH helmets" makes it sound like you actually know some terrible piece of hard news. Maybe short-seller disclosures should be part of the headline.

The good news is that Steve looks good. Still thin, but not "gaunt." It looks like a solid iPod line-up for Christmas. The stock always goes down lately at product announcements; no company could live up to the rumors that surround Apple before these events. Investors wanted a 200-pound Jobs to produce Paul McCartney driving an iCar.

Apple's Biggest Rumor: iPod or Jobs?

I've done lots of research on what was said about Steve Jobs' health.

1. He had a rare form of pancreatic tumor which can be cured, not the more common form which is usually deadly.

2. Weight loss is indeed a common side effect of his original surgery.

3. The second surgery - to correct the weight loss - could have produced results by now and he may look great.

I think he will make an appearance which will put the health rumors to rest.

Apple's Been iSued

Apple gets hit with frivolous lawsuits on a regular basis and none ever get off the ground. This is a non-story.
