      What's the Point of Google's Phone ?
Google's already turned the internet into one big advertisement. What consumer is actually excited about that pervading even further onto his/her phone? No thanks. I'll take the iPhone. Smooth operating system & no advertisements required.

Google vs. Microsoft: Blue vs. Red Ocean Stock Pricing
I think you've spent one too many days inside the academic walls. That's what i think. Interesting theories, clearly you are a very educated man. But I'm not buying your predictions. There are too many other factors in play here. I guess we'll see in six months but I would be surprised to see MSFT under 40 in April and GOOG over 750. Maybe your models predict it, but I just dont see it. How often does this type of model acurately predict future value? just curious.

Much More In Store For Apple TV
I'm an apple fanboy, but I have to unfortunately admit that AppleTV is getting beat, hands down, by a Microsoft product known as Vista Media Center. Content and functionality are far superior and MS is throwing tons of money at it. They dont consider it a hobby. Come on Steve, get in the game (before it's too late)!!!

I preface my comment by saying that i'm an apple fanboy. I own a macbook pro, an ibook, and one of those beautiful 30" cinema displays. That being said, let me just say that I also own a pc with Vista Ultimate, and right now, AppleTV is getting its backside handed to them by Vista Media Center. VMC is a really tight little package and hands down has the advantage on AppleTV in terms of functionality and even content.

Apple's iBrick Episode Should Be A Corporate Branding Disaster
Yes, it should be a complete corporate disaster that Apple should want to maintain such tight quality control on what could be its most important product launch this decade. Are you crazy? I applaud Apple for taking a firm stance to say "hey, enjoy your new iphones, but if you want to screw with the config control then don't come crying to us if it stops working." The real corporate disaster would occur if Apple took no stance at all and allowed this type of ativity to continue until it got to the point where the company no longer had configuration control on a product that was just launched in June. A profuct that still has bugs and needs fixes. Fixes that must come via software updates. And new features that must come through software updates. Software updates that can only be effective if Apple maintains some form of control over the configuration of the iphone. I agree that at some point the iphone will be a stable enough product that Apple would be stupid not to open it up for official third party app development. But that time is not 3 months into product launch. Come on, get real. I applaud Steve Jobs' efforts on this one. QUALITY CONTROL.
