  • Tesla's Norway Deliveries Drop 47% In The Quarter [View article]
Right, Mavi57 - the standard that TSLA must meet is far higher than for GM evidently, when you look at what it is that effects stock value. And they say TSLA is overvalued? That equals strange criteria, wherein safety isn't top priority to valuation of auto company. Tesla, as evaluated by all the experts - and owners - is the safest car on the road, let alone the sexiest.

  • Tesla's Norway Deliveries Drop 47% In The Quarter [View article]
In the end the less than a handful of impact-caused (not mistake caused!) fires combined with the obvious safety and satisfaction of the Tesla owners compared with the tremendous number of G,M, cars with manufacturing mistake problems and resulting deaths equaled nothing less than a plus for Tesla value.

cparmerlee - Well.... for example, today's news:
"GM recalls almost 3 million vehicles..." and remember all those ignition flaw deaths and injuries? Meanwhile Tesla's only problem was simply a handful of high impact accident fires which resulted in no injuries, no deaths, but rather in the owners loving the Tesla safety features that saved their lives in siturations that could have killed them had they been in a gas fueled car!

  • Tesla's April Sales Begin Flowing In [View article]
I do believe that was addressed in saying that "Elon Musk is way ahead of the pack on understanding how to create very desirable product within this reality." Just say the word Tesla and eyes light up with desire.

I think that what the shorts truly do not get is that fossil fuel is permanently going and electric cars and solar power are here to stay for a long long time. Well educated children, now successful adults, grew up to know what is necessary for the planet's survival as a healthy habitat. And Elon Musk is way ahead of the pack on understanding how to create very desirable product within this reality. It is an era of big change, and he is a major player - making history, not just making another automobile.

I enjoyed the article very much, and do feel this information (i.e. popularity of Musk in China) IS relevant to investment decisions (knowing such things helps - just ask Warren Buffet.) And a breezy tone makes for pleasant reading.

  • Why Tesla Will Slowly Lose Credibility With The Market [View article]
Every time Tesla makes a big new positive move that's in the news, a biased short article with an eye-catching title and questionable content comes out. (Been watching that since not long after I bought my first Tesla stock at about $20 a share.)

  • Can Your Portfolio Light Up With Some Of These Top Performers In Solar, And Where Do You Think The Market Is Headed? [View article]
The harm that is occuring due to fracking does not bode well for its future; this is a part of the whole picture which definitely makes solar more attractive for the long run. Fracking is highly controversial; for example what has happened in Oklahoma - unprecedented high rate of earthquakes, in areas where fracking for natural gas takes place - also from other places reports of rates of birth defects in fracking areas and contaminated water. Meanwhile using solar power is harmless, and the methods of attaining it are continually and rapidly going from already good to better.

  • Dumb Investment Of The Week: Tesla Motors Stock [View article]
If I followed this kind of advice I wouldn't have bought any Tesla (as I did) last month at 202. It is up at this moment from that by 26.29% to 255.66, and highest point so far today was 260.78

We've had solar panels on our roof since 1980. And never had to replace them Not an eyesore, but a great money saver - imagine how much our family has saved And imagine what the newer versions will save! We are very thankful. Those who put down solar panels are doing so to their own loss. I am thankful I live in the part of the nation that has believed we can do better for our environment, and that back in the seventies, people began to do that.

I don't own TESLA shares any more, I made a little from them, but sure wish I'd kept them longer. But it's all guessing at this point. "TESLA trying to be revolutionary for the world"? Trying? They ARE revolutionary. This is what makes the whole valutation issue a non-issue - they are in a different historical league than the usual stocks - a value cannot at this time be placed; whatever position one takes it all comes down to just guessing. Like those who were trying to foretell whether the horse and buggy could possibly be replaced by the horseless carriage at the turn into the twentieth century, people just can't know yet. Cheers to those who hope and risk!
