Stable Investor is driven by philosophy that “Return of capital is more important than return on capital.”
Stable Investor is owned by Dev Ashish who also owns a website having the same name. Dev is a Banker by Day, and ofcourse a Stable Investor by night.
Every person wants to ride a winner in markets. But for deciding whom to ride, people use the most commonly available tool in stock market – Speculation. Speculation is fine if you speculate with money you can afford to lose. But if it is the core of your portfolio with which you are speculating, then you are in for big trouble.
Though it would be wrong to deny that earning is the prime concern of investing in stocks, it is the thrill of
getting it right (after doing the analysis and then acting decisively on it) that drives me. Speculative bets (read: mistakes) have been made in past, that have helped in making my decision making process more data driven & non-emotional. But frankly speaking, it is not easy, to avoid speculation.
Therefore as a Stable Investor, it is my endeavor to provide data & information, which would help in reducing the ‘speculative’ component in investments to minimum.
