  • Ackman's Case On Herbalife Doesn't Live Up To His Short [View article]
here are facts. 30 cents of dividend per QT x 20 million = 6 millions dollars for mr A to pay. according to papers, this company has very little debt, and you know other vultures are watching for a private buy out to respin later..........i long HLF since last friday, and will ride up to jan 7 presentation. this deal may brake preshing square as they really stuck their fingers out on the block... i love watching folks sweat.

  • Research In Motion Short Sellers Will Not Get A Second Chance [View article]
iam only guessing, but imagine where rimm be today without the short sellers keeping the price down the last 10 weeks. today, rimm went from 15.35ish after-hours to 12.70ish at 8pm.....maybe the short sellers are pounding the deck again. iam actually cheering for them on sideline as i like to get in at the 200ma. far as BB10, no one really knows if the market will accept it, however rimms QMX platform hopefully will make them money one day as it is in everything almost.

  • Though RIM's (RIMM) first BlackBerry 10 hardware sales are expected within 30 days of a Jan. 30 event, analysts at Detwiler Fenton say they "understand" its first QWERTY keyboard BB10 device won't arrive until June. Moreover, the firm believes AT&T and T-Mobile won't begin selling BB10 devices until March, and Verizon and Sprint until May. This leads Detwiler to think RIM will ship only 400K BB10 units in the Feb. quarter, and 2.2M-2.5M in the May quarter. The gloomy forecast comes as RIM says it will provide free BB10 server upgrades to customers who buy BB10 smartphones. [View news story]
look, none of these guys knows what is really going on and their comments is coming from their wallets. only way to know real story is an insider OR by its price action, and rimm is still on a blue pill.
next big date is dec20 for earnings, and keep happy shorting all..suckers!!)

  • Research In Motion - Possible $43 Stock Price In 12 Months? [View article]
my guess the average short seller has much deeper pocket then an average long investor. rim is currently solid; every down day come with a nice bounce. there will be more good news onway, and it way break to 16 with good earning report on december 20th.. iam guessing shorts will get a nice lesson like when investors went long on rimm at $70 not to long ago.

  • Research In Motion: 'It's Uninvestable' (But Blatantly Tradable) [View article]
"UNINVESTABLE".......just dont tell fairfax, primecap, or yacktman of that as they are all underwater. i too am guessing rimm will go north from a short squeeze, and/or better earnings; Goldman vs Morgan Stanley and everyone in between. happy holidays to all.

PS..please dont take it too seriously as no one here will care about rimm in 30 years.
