Is Microsoft Ready to Throw in the Towel on Zune?

Microsoft is not narrow minded enough to cancel the Zune. Microsoft will continue zune's life until and after zune finds its place in the digital ecosystem.

It also keeps Microsoft's R&D alive by having products with different DNA. Microsoft enjoys a broad gene pool of products because no one knows what natural selection will value next.
