  • Government Profits From Continued Control Of Fannie And Freddie [View article]
Good article!!! Guys, this process will take few years so let’s relax. If you’re impatient buy BOA.

We are all getting plaid here and forget that $$$ will get this resolved. I have a crystal ball. In few years shareholders will settle with the Government over this issue and shareholders will pay a “fee” for saving F&F. Let’s call that the value added that Mr. Wall is referring to.

Because resolution of this matter will take few years, the accumulated swept funds in excess of the repaid principle and the “fee” will be paid back to shareholders to fund capital reserves (probably much larger than any other bank on the street). I might even get ahead of myself to suggest that the common shareholders may see a dividend, but let’s not get too excited.

Proceeds to pay back monies owed to shareholders will come from sale of some of the F&F stock owned by the Gov’t. There will be plenty left and a huge gain!!!! Even that I know it’s not possible, I just wonder if the Gov’t will pay “taxes” on its gain from sale of F&F stock ….. or fund the Social Security with it. Otherwise, please give me my SS money so I can buy F&F.

  • Let's Get Real About Inflation [View article]
Inflation? Real adjusted inflation?..! In my humble opinion, our inflation is through the roof because we manipulated all variables. After all we need inflation to pay off the national debt and catch up the underwater consumers so they spend again.

  • A Growling Bear Is Bad For Everyone [View article]
Great article. I'm concerned, but let's be honest and call this bear what it is which is a Grizzlie. The natural resources, large population and sense of pride is hard to match. I understand that this is a very important aspect of our foreign policy but how come US has to save the world again, isn't it why NATO was created? We don't need Russian gas, corn or oil!!!! We don't need to be involved in every conflict. Than again, thank u for the volatility!! This should create few more round trips.

  • I'll Buy DryShips At $2.80 Or Lower [View article]
Again, a great article but I am having few mixed emotions about the $2.80 as this would reflect a significant pull back over the recent high. I started to build my position in this company long time ago and I am LONG on DRYS. I like this stock even better when others say that they hate it. There is not much to say about the everlasting re-run of continuous dilution other than.... CRAZY.

BDI always falls after the winter and goes back up in March to fall in the summer and rise again in November/December. I don't mind the $3.40 but of course $2.80 would be better. I would recommend buying at various dips, such as the one right now, so one does not miss the earnings call next week (?), next BDI run in 30-45 days and positive dividend news from ORIG.

  • Apple building mobile-payments business [View news story]
This is a step toward my phone becoming a payment device and a storefront for an internet iBank without calling it a bank. Technology is already In place for a secured payment authorization in the 5s device. The smart Apple guys are years ahead of competition. Imagine approving a transaction payment on Amazon with ur fingerprint or even "wiring" money from one iAccount to another based on a finger print and/or facial recognition. ..... Finally, V and AXP are most likely already talking to Apple to be their preferred providers in exchange for infrastructure.

  • Ackman takes big stakes in the GSEs [View news story]
This is one of the last post bailout plays and big money knows it, while Congress has no idea what to do. If Congress sits back and watch private enterprise maximize FNMA value, everyone will be better off. It would be a shame to see this opportunity turn in to Sallie Mae. I see $10 in Q2.
