That chart of the CRB says it all. Parabolic! They always end with tears!

Goldman's $200 Oil Call and the Hurricane Premium Theory
I think we may run to 125 then all but collapse to the 80's in Q2, 2008. This looks like a blow off like the NASDAQ did in 2000. Oil has gone almost parabolic. Yes, the dollar crashing is pushing up prices, but a tipping point is near. Longer term is $200 possible. Most likely probable.

Our problems are bad, but disinflation does not actually appear to really be one of them at the moment.

Garmin: Great Run, But Is That It?!
This name can go much higher. I do not see how they have even begun to penetrate this market. There are millions of used car users who need what Garmin makes. Also, they have some new hand held units that will surely do quite well in 2009.

PGH and PVX look very good. So does HTE and PWE. One would suggest that PBT has simply run too far too fast...

streetTRACKS Gold Fund to Cross-List in Asia
Gold goes to $2,000, GLD goes to $200. Seems simple.

Some suggest $3,500 an ounce for GOLD. This seems quite pessimistic on the outlook for the global economic system.

Can Bush Save the Dollar's Fall?
The dollar is right where it needs to be. One cannot have a strong currency when one has an 800 billion dollar trade deficit. The U.S. has made a mess of its currency with its obscene trade policies. It has essentially traded its currency to the ground.

Dendreon Clinical Studies Continue to Impress
I am a skeptic. I am not sure they have an approvable drug here. The data looked weak to me. I am not sure they even conducted the last test in a way that the FDA would deem responsible and proper. The FDA said no already. What can change this? Does their process of treating the Prostate work, or can they just manipulate the data to make it appear it works to the layman?
