first ge cap enhanced the industrial sales.
second any money taken from the pension plan means the outside actuary said the plan was over funded.

    Just for informational purpose
if he were to sell out at a loss in an ira and bringing it to zero by taking the proceeds and has no other tax free or tax deferred accounts he may take the tax loss to the equivalency of a regular account
He also my not open a new account in 2014.

Again it can not be answered
linn has two prices $5 and 5.25
    one based on swaps
    one based on puts
Given what is known about NGL pricing (as a ratio to oil prices),
if you are assuming either a 5 or 5.25% ratio
the new ratio would be 4.25 or 4.4625

By the way I read your insta blog on MLP your spread sheet didn't take into account a DRIP at monthly or quarterly payments with the accompanying add back to your costs.
    Then again you said
The exact percentages don't matter if they're off by a couple.

To me it was sloppy work.

No, I' saying because of your pompous statements I'm not giving you the answers.
A couple of things you should know
1] I've traded some forms of options for 52 years starting with put & call dealers.
2] I ran the Treasury Operations in NYC of one of the biggest banks in the world during the 80 & 90's we did hundreds/thousands of option and futures a day.
3] I was the representative to the Swaps dealers assoc.
4] I created the middle office for another big bank
5] I'm good in math in 1964 I got 800 on the math SAT
I've tried to help you understand but you ego gets in the way
go back and reread what I said about tax spreads.

    this is what you wrote
According to the latest presentation, the remainder of 2014 oil production is hedged as follows:

    (About) 65% Swaps WTI @ $92.44
    16% Puts $91.46
    4% 3-way collars (Brent) @ $80
    10% 3-way collars (WTI) @ $72
    5% Collars (WTI) @ $90

How much would Linn get for a representative barrel of WTI today

    I responded
    rlp

they have on the web site a box for presentations

look for the 8/7/14 supplemental Q2 2014 financial and operational results

pages 8 thru 11 is what your looking for.
    pages 8&9 is positions while 10 & 11onsolidated portfolio.
it best you just work off 8&9

    you responded
Where do you think I got the numbers? Can you answer any of the questions i posted?

You sent me on a wild goose chase as I tried figure where you went wrong
If you had stated they were looking at the figures from the graph which you could not even correctly copy. I would have not spent the time.
    if you had said
How much would Linn get for a representative barrel of WTI today

I would have given you the formula to calculate page 8 and 9
    if you didn't know it

    Today you said
The exact percentages don't matter if they're off by a couple.

You can go to the tables and figure them out if you want

Well you can now go to the tables to figure out the difference for a representative barrel of WTI today

It took me less than 7 minutes to do all the calculations
brent, wti & henry hub btu.

you need to learn to respond correctly.
if you said I looked at page 8 & 9 and I'm confused I would have walked you through each line however you pompous replies get you nothing
