  • IBM And Intel: The End Game For IBM Semiconductor [View article]
Warren Buffett has said, "Buy companies that you know...and understand". Well, I bought JNJ for that reason...and I bought INTC many years ago...I thought "chips" were made from potatoes...glad I didn't take Buffett's advice on INTC!

Birder...beware...espe... since it is your largest holding. The stock has lagged the S&P 500 by 15% YTD and 14% for 5 year period. In other words, you would have done better holding an S&P500 index fund. Best in investing to all.

I have no idea what time period you are putting on this "40% likely upside potential with a less likely 20% downside risk"

JNJ is a SWAN...Sleep Well At Night stock...I have owned it for years and buy a little more every month...regardless of price. As with any other company of it's size,
you will have the recalls and lawsuits...I don't like them either, but I do believe that JNJ has helped so many people extend or improve their lives through innovative medical technology.
