TM...Can't see how you can compare NVS with JNJ...JNJ's net income is 70% higher than NVS...not to mention the diversification and cash holdings of JNJ.
    Thanks for the article.

I don't think you can buy a buy a higher quality "sleep at night" dividend stock. In addition, it's one of only four stocks (I believe) with a AAA+ rating from S&P. I am buying it for my granddaughter's college savings.
    Thanks for the article.

  • Intel: No Dividend Raise Just Yet [View article]
I didn't buy (and continue to buy) INTC shares with hopes of it becoming a dividend champion...I would rather have the growth. When I first purchased INTC shares they were paying .03 cents per share dividend...wonder what that equates to in YOC? But we are all for the most part, greedy individuals, so I look forward to a div increase also! LOL.

  • Intel: Can You Now Spare A Penny? [View article]
    Bill,
good article...as always. I am long INTC and have owned the stock for many years...but did not buy it with the intention of it becoming a div champion. That said, I think INTC is still a growth story and would rather see another 15% price increase (YTD) than a paltry dividend bump. Thanks.

  • Despite Recall, Criticism From FDA, Johnson & Johnson Still A Buy In 2014 [View article]
Your negative personal feelings against JNJ and their "NEAR TOTAL LACK OF ETHICS" is unjustified. More of the problem is with your son's PMD writing Rx's for everything. Hope that he is much better.

Nice that you want to carry Immelt's water...not being a shareholder and suffering as we did. Immelt is overrated and far overpaid!

MKiwi and nguyen...if we only owned companies that have not been "bitch slapped" by regs, we would have a boring portfolio...IMHO.

  • Time For An Intel Turnaround? [View article]
    Renu,
I appreciate any and all articles on INTC...thank you for yours. However, I don't know when you obtained your figures, but I see INTC up 3.7% YTD vs. -1.5% for the Nasdaq...(in addition, INTC is +5.8% for the last 3 months)...please be accurate with your numbers.
