I am confused by your last line - don't you mean that the stock has few reasons to NOT continue its bull run?

      Patni: Hot As Indian Curry
Solid work, but I would take it to the next level: comparative growth rates, incremental margins and pipeline of business -> which would influence valuation. There is a valuation differential that Patni gets hit on for a reason: what is it? Is the the scope of projects they are able to take on? Something else? I am not criticizing this blog. In fact, I think it is very good, but for me to take action on this, I would do the following analysis as well. Finally, a takeout premium would make for an interesting case given that this would an easy cash transaction for someone like HPQ or IBM.

Bad News For Semis: Equipment Orders Continue To Rise
Excellent note - Additionally, CSFB is downgrading the sector this morning. Their note is pretty good. Specifically, they have downgraded VSEA & LRCX as well.

Taiwan Semi's Founder Predicts Gloom and Doom For the Chip Industry
ENTIRELY in agreement ... I was voicing my frustration at the shallower cycles and ever increasing hordes of folks trying to jump on the same trades. The only name I like into this ever increasing cycle of lower cost / higher product number is TSRA ... have to work more on it.

Well, its good for the semicaps though (although that is in bubble mode too - memory glut). But it explains the shallowness of the cycles to a large extent.

Communication Chip Producers To Suffer From Weak Motorola Handset Sales
The semi resiliency has indeed been frustrating, but I am cautious on the SMH itself now - check out the weekly chart with a negative formation now. Also today's GS call on weaker MB data is helping. There is a definite bid to the names.
I posted on your INTU comment - that is a v interesting note.

Hi - what prices did you use for each of the instances/months given they report in Nov.
This is an interesting note for sure.

William - nice call on TXN; I was surprised at last night's action with the strength. I just read your article referencing this comment thread as well.

Hello, very fair - LLTC getting hurt bad today and the SMH is down. Although, it is worth noting that the SMH actually opened up today and when the oil inventories number came out, it reversed and has not looked up since then.
Given that LLTC is an early indicator and the volatility of the eps season, which names specifically do you think have most room to the downside? ISIL reports today and should be interesting as well like LLTC. Thank you.

Turning Point for Semis May Be Just Around the Bend
Just asked the same question; I am more curious to see how quickly the stocks are factoring in this over-ordering? So an overlay of the SMH (Semi Holdrs)on this supply/demand chart would be interesting.
