  • Calling All Aeterna Zentaris Stockholders: Retail Activist Campaign Begins [View article]
I'd also be down for this. I have about 4,300 shares. I also suggest to ask the SEC to put in an inquiry. The past 24 months things have been really suspect. steve@cdn.net

  • Alcatel-Lucent: What If The Wireless Unit Is Finally Sold? [View article]
If the price is right, ALU will sell, but I feel they know there is more potential. LTE is a big thing and there is just growing demand all the time. As more devices require to be online (even cars), I can't see them losing out, especially with an improved business model. This was a poorly managed unit that Coombes is turning right. Good job on him. It's rare to find a CEO that did what he said he would do.

I agree, especially with a .19 cent beat. How can it not at the very least double. I;ve seen more movement with stocks beating .05 cents let alone what .19 cents could do.

Why was the AutoUSA acquisition poor? I am trying to search for reasons on Google and haven't found any. Only people saying it was poor, but no one explaining why. I thought the leads were supposed to be good?

The Softlayer purchase was a bad idea. IBM has no business in retail sales.

There is just no creativity in this company. They either copy or try to draw blood from a stone from games people are bred to hell with or don't like. They target people with no lives and this is the wrong time to do it in when people are more worried about paying bills.

  • Why I Still Remain Bearish On AEterna Zentaris [View article]
I'm thinking this is more of a junior salesforce. Just a bunch of monkeys trying to sell Estrogel. I would assume to distributors? I wonder if this company understands the business model and is able to see potential where others don't. The ticket price at it's lowest is $50 and goes up to well over $100 per item. (this is what I have seen from Google).

Will these sales people try to sell online or rather to Online meds/ecommerce houses or are they going to only go brick and mortar? I don't mean will they build an ecommerce portal to sell Estrogel, but rather approach medical/pharma sites to sell Estrogel.

How are the sales people going to be paid? I would assume that this is heavily leaning towards commission based sales? Maybe a small base like 16-18k and huge commissions? If they are paying these sales people 50k base +, there's no chance this company can make money.

Lastly, people are talking buyout, however, I doubt it will happen as long as there are question marks; more specifically, the class actions.

I am sure that Macrilen was not included in the PPS, but was Estrogel commission sales also not included?

As for dilution...I honestly cannot see dilution until AFTER ZopTec phase III data release. Any phase III should at least POP the stock a bit and on good news should bring this stock between $2-3 dollars. The only issue that I see is that the stock may or may not pop based on their ATM practice, which is annoying...REALLY annoying.

  • AEterna Zentaris: The Bear Case In Front Of The November 5th PDUFA [View article]
Are they going to redo the PDUFA or are they going to shelve/scrap it? If continuing, how long before we can get to another judgment opportunity?

    Hi Daniel,

I was wondering about a dilution. Do you think that we'd see a dilution BEFORE Q1 phase III ZopTec results? Second, are these final FDA results..ie. FDA approves and AEZS moves forward with a sales strategy OR is this just some sort of phase III analysis results during a period of time and this is not a final decision?

Normally, I would say that a company that requires so much dilution cannot be healthy.

The way I see it is that they are spread too thin. Look at the pipeline. How do they afford to hire so many people and maintain order with so many products? It, however, improves the longs chance of this company becoming the next intercept!

Ok, maybe pipe dreams, but after KERX, AEZS pretty much died (from a share value). With such a deep pipeline, the next 5 years is going to be chalk full of catalysts. It's gonna be nice riding the pop on all of them 8-)

  • Ford: Valuation Is Getting Ridiculous [View article]
I can't see the F-150 to be the saving grace outside of North America. It's too big for Europeans and I don't think asians like big cars over there considering it;s hard to manoeuvre with so much traffic. The only use would be for construction, but hey, we have a slowdown. Mustangs MIGHT do ok, but TBH, I have only seen them in droves in the US..not even Canada.
