iPhones Sell Themselves in Everyday Tasks
I really beg to differ with awcabot, I am a big Mac fan, have several Macs in the house, along with my Powerbook, and probably less frequently than I should, connect the iPhone to my computer. The last time was to correct a software issue, and I just reloaded the OS. That was probably 4 weeks ago. I do concur with the author though that the ease of use, simplicity of design, and user interface is second to none, and I have owned many cell phones over the years.

AT&T's "Edge" Network Shatters iPhone Mobile Web Expectations
Admittedly the edge network is a bit slow, but certainly usable. In spite of the short comings for web surfing, all of the other attributes of the phone are second to none. I do not believe that there is another phone on the market that can hold a candle to the user interface and features of the iPhone. As for the price you stated, when was the iPhone selling for $699.00 less the $100 rebate. As far as I can remember, it started at $599 for the 8 GB model, was then dropped to $399, about eight weeks after introduction and a $100 rebate offered to all of those original customers. If you can't get the facts straight on the original cost, what's the value of the rest of the article???

Verizon Finally Unveils iPhone Competition, Or "iPhone Equalizer"
I get so amused by you pundits who write details as if you knew them to be true. Where does it say that the iPhone is below expectations on sales??? The data I read is it is well above sales projections, and even more so after the price drop. As for the ATT network, I have been a Cingular customer for quite some time, and the reality is that depending on where you are, one network will probably be better than another, but not in all cases. Could the data retrieval be faster, yes, but it is not bad, and the battery life is quite acceptable. Bottom line is not the display, and not the network, or the other attributes, but rather the software, and the user experience. And that is what the other manufacturers just don't get. There is no other phone out there that matches the experience of use that the iPhone provides. I have owned several Motorola's, and Nokia's, and not one can compare. I love how you writers make up data to fit your story, and preach it as fact. Unbelievable.
