I consider YHOO as highly speculative, I will try to hold it till the Alibaba IPO if nothing else will force to sell it.
Can you suggest a reliable quick evaluation method that will
enable to find, promptly, the value of an equity.
I prefer to do the calculation myself.
    Good luck with your investments.

Thank you for your enlightening comment, I must admit that I got more then a thing from it.
Actually, a few months ago I got YHOO at 30$.
I jumped in when I have noticed that YHOO has changed course and that the only logical cause for it was the appointment of
Marissa Mayer as President and CEO of Yahoo, in July 2012.
I made it late but not too late. I hope that Mrissa's magic will not fade away soon, with Alibaba and some other issues.

    Hello INZKEEPER,
    Thanks for your reply.
My intention was only to draw your attention to some similarity of both stock charts, as I understand from your bio that you have knowledge in technical analysis.
I don't have that knowledge and I am puzzled what is the real value of technical analysis in the process of picking good stocks at the right time. Can it be a major tool to lean on while trying to forecast stock cycles.

    Inz.
Thanx for a good article, as usual.
I would like to draw your attention to the chart of YHOO at StockCharts, with the same parameters that you have entered in your chart for CGX.TO. What is your oppinion?
    YAHOO does not pay dividend.

According to finviz.com, most of the significant sales were done by only one (same) director who sold large stakes of Yahoo stocks when their price was 19.70$, 19.68$ and 29.11$, while there were no other unusual sells. It doesn't seems to have any connection to the stocks valuation.
