Tom, perhaps you should actually LOOK at the prices of a market before commenting on them. Here are the session closing prices for January crude (WTI on NYMEX) over the past 4 days:
Fri: $47.96 Sun: $46.28 Mon: $44.51 Tue: $43.60
How do falling prices over the past three days constitute an "uptrend over the last few days"?

Guys, not everyone who reads this site is already an "expert". Some of us are fairly new to investing and ETFs. Please forgive us.
Anyway ... There is some interesting information in this article. For instance, given all the hype and press that ETFs have received in the last few years, I had no idea that mutual fund assets ($12 trillion) still dwarfed ETF assets ($.6 trillion).
And I appreciated the size of the post. A lot of the contributors go on and on and don't say much--or worse, their content is just a big advertisement for their products or services. It's nice to see useful, "nuggetized" information without having to wade through a bunch of self-promotional dreck.

Just checked SSgA's site. Japanese bonds account for over 90% of this fund! What's up with that? Perhaps this isn't the broad-based international bond fund that many of us have been waiting for.
