  • Tesla pushes Model S in China [View news story]
I still can't fathom how there are so many shorts trolling these forums.
Anyone who wants to read a good transparent discussion on TSLA from all angles can google "tesla discussion" and go to tesla motors club site then pick the investments section.

    Good luck to all

Anyone interested in reading real discussion on TSLA should google 'TSLA discussion' and go to the tesla motors club forums and check out the investment section. There are the most knowledgeable TSLA bulls and bears there who have been talking TSLA for years from every possible angle. Many Wall Street analysts seem to get some of their info from there too

  • Tesla's Deliveries In Europe Show Strange ASP Increase [View article]
As someone else said above, Could you please tell me one reason why would they lie about revenue? CEO thinks that price of stock is on the high end, for foreseeable future they don´t need cash so why would they risk court and their reliability by lying about revenue? What impact would have 100mil lower revenue in 3rd quarter 2014 on future of the company, when stock is based on selling 100ks of cars in 2018?There is no logic in your statement.

  • Stay Far Away From Bitcoin [View article]
Jim Hap has it right, except I believe the day the ETF is offered will be historical and the price will quickly go up, perhaps by an order of magnitude. I've spoken to many people who are interested in getting exposure to a little Bitcoin but don't know how or don't want to put in the work to learn how safely, especially after the scams made public.
COIN will eliminate the obstacles above and cause the price to go up very fast only to then become even more volatile than ever for a while afterwards. For example, I could see it swelling to a 100bn market cap and then coming back down to 20bn market cap (which is still much higher than today).
But in the long run it should increase well beyond the 100bn market cap again for good.

    Author,
Your still proving my point that you refuse to spend the time to do the extra research, such as test driving the current flagship product of the company. Come on dude, that's investigative analysis 101...experience the product.
(I too have test driven other nice cars, it is on the Tesla that makes people feel that it is the certain future)

You: this stock should not be where it is, you don't deserve to make this kind of money while I watch you
Me: just go test drive the car and you will see the light

    Waterbros,
You both missed my point and proved my point in the same couple of sentences.
1)I've had nice cars before and thought they were nice as a necessity for driving. But I've never actually looked forward to driving any chance I get before until I got the models S
2)you will never understand this until you either buy a Model S, lease one, or even just borrow one for a few days (which I'm sure will make you want to buy one).

My point is that any short or bear (such as yourself) is ignorant for not doing #2.
Show a Model S owner who then shorts TSLA because they think it is overvalued and I'll show you a pig that can fly.

Goodluck and I highly suggest you do #2 if you are shorting Tesla.

I hope you have driven the car for a day...or you should lease one as investment research on your short position.
Some things can't be quantified and the joy and elation of driving a Model S I one of those things.
You won't understand it until you do...I've had one for over 18 months now and still look so forward to driving it everyday...so much so my wife and I fight about who gets to drive it and I literally look for excuses to drive places sometimes.
I've never felt so much satisfaction from anything I've owned before and I suspect other Model S owners feel the same way.

  • A Big Concern For Tesla In China [View article]
    Logical Thought,
Please read JRP3's reality check above. Perhaps as investment research you should buy or lease a Tesla to see if owning one is as inconvenient as you tell everyone it is.
