  • Southwestern Energy: To Explore Or To Exploit? [View article]
Point of interest, from NW Colorado - you cross the boarder 40 miles north - Bags Wy. and there appears amazing amount of oil - gas wells! The state line can't be the line for oil. Southwestern hopefully has a great play.

  • Weighing The Week Ahead: Finding Stocks For The 2014 Homestretch [View article]
Love your work, something I think about, or add to my watch out for repercussions, the Euro interest dropped to .05 and the dollar is stronger, 1.29, this means the price for oil in Europe is going up. This means a bigger recession? This will come back to hurt us? The price for bushels of corn have and will take out some farmers, like low three dollar range for Minneapolis trading! 14 to 14.5 billion bushels coming on the market, you can't buy seed to plant the corn on these prices, let alone pay for your big house, farm equipment and fuel. No worries just think about.

  • Plunging Corn Prices Encourage Livestock Producers To Fatten Up The Flock [View article]
Thank you, good information, so if land value hits around two thousand per acre - that would be a buy point to me, after reading your note. This isn't a good money maker but would be fun to say I own a piece of land in the greatest farm area in the world.

I wonder when it would be a good time to buy crop land in the future for an investment. I also notice week for weak above - sorry. Thinking of buying Iowa farm land some day and then leaseing out the property. Any thoughts.

  • Why Active Managers Underperform [View article]
Tru-ism is for managers, investors who listen to managers probably do much better as being one of those who can be in and out fast, taking profit again and again. Stop trading and the investor becomes a mutual fund. Thank you Cam for the article.

I drove a thousand miles through corn and soy bean fields during the last few weeks. Not by choice, there is so many miles of crops that I can't believe we won't hit 14 billion bushels. Truly unbelievable all the corn and soy coming. North west Kanas has some week fields, they needed to water there crops, but this won't put a dent in what's coming.

Great comments on KWK, I sure wish the CEO and the CFO could convince me like you do. This company has hurt so many people, SWN now drilling big time here in Co. will be interesting if they can make money on what KWK sold. I think it's swn. Traveling around for a month or so for something to do. So thank for your current information.

months ago 1.50 price, now just sick, this must be a brand new company with hopes and dreamers, but has been around for years. They aren't making money, no plans to make money for share holders!
    Disaster for sure!
