Is Silver Point a Television Company Repairman?
The real test will be to see if Silver Point and whoever else holds shorts will start covering and help get the stock back above a buck.. Otherwise this baby is heading to Pink Sheets and that will cost us more money.

We need to hear from Syntax management soon.

Syntax-Brillian Losing North American Market Share
I thought they were selling everything they make. If this is still true then the market is expanding faster than BRLC's mfg capabilities. But that is not a bad thing, just look ar GM,Ford who kept growing the mfg base in a growing market till the market changed and now they must shrink.

I am highly suspect of info from this writer. Hedge fund that is short?

      Syntax-Brillian Disappoints Again
I recognize the pattern of poor P.R. by BRLC, as noted by the writer. As someone who is long in the stock, I wonder what does the writer see as a price to cover his short position?

Does he think they are so poorly run that they will go out of business?
Are the books being cooked to a point that there is fraud?
Or is he just trying to get more selling and lower the price?

This article is just full of innunendo of the above without actually saying something.

Corning Hits a Home Run: Is Syntax-Brillian Next?
I believe that the rebates people will be receiving to shore up the economy, avert a recession, will be spent on home life improvements.

I think HD TVs are now in that category.

People will want to buy something to make staying home more palateable and rationalizing the purchase of a HD TV for the $1200 rebate would be easy.

If you look at value for the money then in "name" brands there is Vizio and Olevia.

Though many will not call them name brands they are getting recognition in the market as "Value" brands.

We could see good things in the near future from BRLC.

Is There a Connection Between Internet Advertising and the Economy?
I think we will be surprised by the increase in internet activity during this slow-down. Not calling it a recession yet. It has been my experience that when people don't have funds to go out, buy gas, dinner out or drinks they stay home and play with the computers. Check out sales, look at eBay visit defferent websites.

The internet is the new past time. I think goog will offer an earnings surprise. I am not sure about yhoo because they are changing their models and sales tools.

      Long on goog.
