  • Emerging Market Equities - How Much Should You Allocate?  [View article]
I an allocated about 15% in Emerging Market mostly with VWO. I also own VXUS which has some EM exposure. I also have 2.5% in VNQ REIT and 2.5 % in VNQI REIT.

I am a little overweighted with my EM allocation only because I forgot that the InternationalnETF. (VXUS) I bought recently has EM exposure so I intend to rebalance next week to 10% EM allocation which was my target in the first place.

Btw, this was a nice article and I really appreciate the graph, but I am comfortable with a 10% EM allocation. The potential growth in the EM presently far exceeds growth in developed countries like the U.S and Europe. I dont own any bonds because I have a pension and a 20 year note from a property I sold. I can stomach a more risk because the note and pension pay all my bills. I also have the deed to my main house so have no mortgage to worry about and 0 debt.
