  • The Folly Of's Tablet Strategy [View article]
AMZN reminds me of Nortel back in 1999 - 2000. Both companies being market leaders in an up-and-coming field (e-retail/digital media, telecom) and both crazy valuations, enthusiastic institutional investors and a fantastic growth story.
As a grad student, I invested in Nortel in 2000. It went from 400B to 5B in two yrs and I ate a lot of ramen that year.

  • A Treasury Bubble With Only 2% Bulls? [View article]
A question for the experts - What would be the theoretical ceiling for TLT? The fact is, bond yield (nominal) cannot go below 0%, and so there must be a price level after which TLT cannot go any higher.

    Any thoughts or insights?

  • SEFE: Investing In The Newest Renewable Source Of Electricity [View article]
SEFE is an aggressively marketed penny stock. Insane amount of advertisements on business news sites and so on that links to stock report/analysis-looking advertisements.

Seems like a pump & dump scheme to me.
