  • Tesla: The Short Of The Decade? [View article]
There is nothing wrong with shorting a stock as long as you know when to buy back to cover the trade, the only thing I would like to know is when my broker lends my shares out for someone to sell short and they make money what do I get ?
for the record I'm TSLA long, long term and can see TSLA trading in the 300's for year 2015, Model X specs will be out before long, Model X will rule the Roads, Model X will be the funnest car to drive, Model X will be a star, I'm almost sure Tesla will offer an X90 for a more premium market and believe the X85 will be the mid range model, when you are in the cross walk and you see one staring you straight on your jaw will drop to the road, and if you ever get a chance to drive one and you cant afford it you will mortgage your house so you can buy one, in January of 2015 Model 3 will be revealed and TSLA will peak 400's the bad news is this will be the time to short. Maybe ....

  • Tesla, Fairest Welfare Queen Of All, Cracks The Whip [View article]
well however you want to look at the gas car is emitting twice as much, at the refinery at the gas stations needed to be open 24 hours running gas pumps powered by electricity powered by coal and then emitting again as they drive all over the place at 20% efficiency with 80% of the energy going out the tail pipe, and you are right it is all gibberish and complete nonsense to keep powering the automobile industry this way, save the oil for our Airlines , Transport planes, Fighter Jets , Trains, Ships and future generations, we do not need to be consuming it at such a high rate.

gas cars are also coal burners , gasoline does not magically appear at the pump , its requires coal power to produce electricity to power the refinery and to run all those pumps at all those gas stations, 4 to 7 kilowatts per gallon your car holds 10 to 20 gallons, 4 times 20 gallons is 80 kilowatt hours of coal fired energy per fill up and then use it at only 20% efficiency. with all the heat energy going out the tail pipe everywhere you go on top of being a high consumer of electricity even before you get the car moving.

Crumple zones work by managing crash energy, absorbing it within the outer parts of the vehicle, rather than being directly transmitted to the occupants,

For Tesla's first car off the Fremont factory assembly line, they did an outstanding job of achieving this goal .

  • Tesla Motors' Model X To Be Far More Successful Than Model S [View article]
@value Obviously they are holding out for an all electric version SUV

@Lucky If you need to pull a 4000 lb trailer and you wanted to use electric motor then you would go with not a Model X
keep in mind Tesla is just getting started out and has not yet come out with a full Model line up, in the future Tesla will offer every kind of Vehicle imaginable.

and if you should have any doubt of the ability of an electric motor pulling tons of weight, just go out and look at a Train, those are electric motors driving the wheels on a train.
Caterpillar earth movers are also Electric motors driving the wheels

  • Tesla: The Current Scorecard Reads 64,000 To 65 [View article]
Keep in mind weather using Hydrogen or gasoline, your going to use lots of electricity to produce it and maintain it and pump it out.
gas cars are already consuming from the electric supply at the refinery and at all the gas stations that need to be open 24 hours consuming the electric supply.

  • The High Price Of Owning Tesla [View article]
When Tesla releases specs and pricing of Model X =catalyst 1, when Tesla releases the look of Gen.3 =Catalyst 2, when Tesla executes successful launch of Model X=catalyst 3, when Tesla and Panasonic announce next gen. Battery with a higher milli amp hour rating =catalyst 4, do I really need to tell you about catalyst 5 ?

With only 120 million shares outstanding and even a lower float and a good chunk of the float sold short it's only natural it's the kind of stock that will be trading at very high valuations for a few more years.

Catalyst 5, the successful launch of an affordable no compromise very attractive and compelling EV the Gen. 3.

  • Is Tesla Model S Really A Quality Green Car? [View article]
Just keep in mind that a gas car is polluting at the coal plant also as it must have a refinery to run, refineries require a whole lot of electricity and so do gas pumps at gas stations, so a gas car is emitting more than a pure EV

  • Tesla: An Amazing Company, But Shares Are Still Too Expensive [View article]
Lets hit the rewind button and go back to before there was a Tesla Motors company
All you have is one choice when buying your next Vehicle, they all run on Gas. and if you could buy an Alternative fueled vehicle its very short range and not very practical. along comes some Cat that claims he is going to start offering a Vehicle from the Future, everybody laughs, he claims it will have the performance of a BMW and the same range of most cars, he claims you will have a full tank at the start of your Day right out of your own garage and never have to visit a gas station and have the ability to drive it just about anywhere cross country on top of all this.
"More Laughing" you can use indirect fusion power to charge a percentage of it if you install Solar panels on your roof, more laughing is heard, They will IPO at 17 dollars a share , more laughing in the back round is heard , froward fast to today the stock has been as high as 266 and is trading at close to 200 now who is laughing.
what Tesla has accomplished today is nothing to what they will accomplish in the future , as a matter of fact Tesla is from the Future or maybe the past who really cares , its here today to offer you the ability to drive the car of the future.
