  • Is Groupon Now A Buy? Exploring Both Sides Of The Debate [View article]
    Great article!

For me is a buy at this prices. Shares was punish excessively.
The numbers reveal as Groupon last Quarter much better than the same Quarter in 2010. See if the next May 14 achieved a profit.
Regarding competition, are minority, have not much strength and probably also not be sustained over time, except that LivingSocial is also much smaller. To give a specific case, I am Argentine and Groupon is anger here, you know why? because in this country with our corrupt and inefficient government, we have annual inflation of at least 25% then purchase online pages daily deals saving an inflation, here is the largest Groupon and LivingSocial does not come to Argentina ...
I recommended buying Groupon early Monday to $ 11.13 and probably have seen the end of the down, at least until June 2 at the expiry of lock-up.

  • Investors Who Gave Groupon A Billion Dollars Slip Closer To Breaking Even [View article]
    Really good report.
I have a doubt, trading at $ 11.90 Groupon, you think that if disappointed in the Q1 may continue to decline? or is already discounted a bad number?
Of course it will depend how bad comes, if it is lost ...

I am in Groupon but in short, I plan to sell the shares before June 2 upon completion of the Lock-up

Yes, I agree that $ 75 possible have a floor strong enough. But in any case I would only move in short, because I do not think long term this shares rises.

  • Zynga Contributed 15% Of Facebook's Revenue In Q1, Down From 19% A Year Ago [View article]
Zynga would be mortally wounded if left Facebook. On Facebook people play and also keeps in touch with friends and contacts in general.
If Zynga leave Facebook does not mean that all users continue to use their games on their platform ...
I think its good to stay in good relationship with Mr Zuckerberg

  • On a weak day for tech, Groupon (GRPN +6.5%) bounced strongly off its 52-week lows, thanks to an upgrade to Overweight from Evercore's Ken Sena, who notes the company is now valued just slightly above Google's $6B Dec. 2010 offer. Sena also downplays the impact of Groupon's June 1 share lockup expiration, and the possibility the company will have to take a write-down on its troubled international ops.  [View news story]
It was to be on May 1, but the problem then released Q4 decided to extend the lock-up until June 2
