Apple's iDongle Should Go Back to the Drawing Board
      AppleFan,

Those options can make the product occupy much more space than it needs to. Unless you are talking about external attachments, in which case why bother? DVD players are very cheap and you can get a DVR (sometimes free) inside your cable or satellite box.

Air: All That's Left In Your Wallet After You Buy Apple’s New Laptop
It's a good think you don't do Ferrari reviews. We would probably be reading about comparisons to the Tatas Nano. How irrelevant can you get? Couldn't you think of a better downside than cannibalizing Macbook sales? Do you really think people normally buy two computers at a time?

4 Million iPhones - Not Good Enough
If you asked Ballmer (someone actually did) he would have said Jobs' goal of selling 10 million in 18 months is a totally unrealistic. The iPhone is outselling all windows mobile smartphones combined!
Now, you admit to predicting the iPhone would be a flop, yet you think 4 million in 200 days is not good enough?
And then you say Jobs is lowballing with the goal of 10 million?
20% market share in six months is not good enough? Reaching 40% of the goal in 35% of the time is not good enough? What would you consider success then?

Seriously, You watch TV, use a DVR for recording TV programs, rent your movies from Netflix, and don't want to use iTunes.
Did you only interview yourself to reach the conclusion that "people want a DVR?"

I don't want a gaming console. I already have a DVD player and a DVR. And I especially dislike listening to a loud box while watching a movie or listening to music. Apple TV suites me fine. How else can I watch all the movies in my iTunes library on the living room TV?
It seems to me if you already have an XBox 360 and don't use iTunes, you have no business reviewing Apple TV. I suggest you go back to the drawing board and find something else to write about.

Microsoft, Apple, Nintendo: Gaming Is Going Places
Apple's gaming partnerships never amounted to anything in the past. Apple has had many rugs pulled from under them in this area. And you certainly need more than one or two titles to attract any significant customer base. For Apple, gaming is a risky area. It would be better to let someone else develop a decent phone/gaming platform first.

      Controversial Morning for Apple
"operators see no way of making profit?"
I don't see how, since the plans are also a lot more expensive than in the US. The sales are not at all disappointing, unless you expected everyone to immediately switch carriers, ditch ore-pay plans and buy iPhones.

Apple Seeking a Reunion With Adobe?
Actually, Adobe is the only large aquisition that makes sense for Apple. Apple will move Adobe's development to Cocoa and then drop support for the Windows platform. Adobe has already destroyed all competition in the publishing market. So a lot of desktop as well as web content creation will move to the Mac platform.

      Apple and ThinkSecret Settle Suit
I can't believe anyone writing for a financial site would back ThinkSecret in this matter, unless you are for harming shareholders. If people count on reliable leaks and, for some reason, Apple fails to deliver, shareholders will suffer. If a competitor, having obtained future product plans and specifications, beats Apple to the market, Apple shareholders will suffer. If information about an update or a new product is leaked resulting in unsold inventory of existing product, shareholders will suffer. Therefore taking the side of a web site that engages in what I'd essentially corporate espionage is very irresponsible.

It should be illegal to post articles in financial sites under a pseudonym. The author clearly fears for his own reputation more than anything.
And no, I am not being hypocritical. Posting a comment under a pseudonym is perfectly fine. I a. Not pretending to be a journalist nor an analyst.

AT&T's "Edge" Network Shatters iPhone Mobile Web Expectations
My iPhone doesn't work on the international space station, it cost me $800, and when I went back to get my rebate, for some reason they charged me an additional $200. I got the mpst expensive data plan hoping to get a faster connection, and yet my first web page hasn't loaded since I bought the phone.
What I am trying to say is it's not that hard writing articles these days. Can't get internet connection under the sf bay in bart? Such grand expectations!
