But in Apple case its probably a short term dip and Apple is for sure a long term appreciation play as it goes down its iPod and MAC invation of the PC world, right? Yes. So if you like it at 150, then 140 or 130 is even better. so sell a cash collateralized Put (see link below), pocket the cash, then pick up the stock at the an effective lower cost than its current price later. If the shorts are wrong, you simply pocket the cash.
