How the Fannie / Freddie Announcement Impacts Forex, M&A
"Paulson took a look at China’s $4.6 billion reduction of exposure to Fannie and Freddie debt and realized that something needed to be done to prevent a further exodus of foreign investment...."

Kathy, in looking throughout the web at all of the other commentary by analysts this morning, you are the only one who seems to "have got it right." The actions of Paulson, et al, are only partially about the US housing/financial crisis.

      Keep it up!

The Government's Moral Hazard with Fannie and Freddie
I think that you have all missed the purpose of the Federal "Bailout," which in my opinion had little to do with the housing crisis. China and other countries were begining to slow down or stop their purchases of Government securities; this step by Paulson, et al, was necessary to demonstrate the presence of the US Government in this current crisis.

What I don't understand is that if you guys don't like Cramer, why do you even watch him???????????? I actually saw a replay of the "Cramer meltdown;" my comment is why was he so shy in voicing his opinions?
