  • Hercules Offshore Remains Unattractive [View article]
I thought the same thing at $4. And at $3. And at $2. At $1.50? No way it goes any lower. Well, I don't have the funds or the guts to chase HERO anymore. I just hope it doesn't fold altogether!

  • Crimson Wine: Bring Your Portfolio Out Of The Cellar With This Stock [View article]
"Crimson Wine operates in the premium and ultra-premium wine market ($10-$25 per 750 ml bottle)"

Are you kidding? Unless Yellow Tail is considered "ultra-premium" I think this would be more like table wine you find in gas stations.

  • General Motors (GM +1.4%) says the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will squeeze out 29 mpg on the highway while retaining its muscle car status with a 455 horsepower V-8 engine. Using new GM technology, a four-cylinder mode will help the Stingray improve performance. What to watch: The pure engineering prowess of the major automakers will take on heightened importance with gas mileage ratings a bigger factor in selling cars and government regulations tightening standards. [View news story]
I did NOT just read "four-cylinder" and "Stingray" in the same sentence :(

  • Ruger Vs. Smith & Wesson: A Gun Stock Showdown [View article]
I'd like to see a similar article on ammunition manufacturers. While gun supplies may be comming back, good luck trying to find ammo to load them with. I've seen Winchester .40 S&W in stock at our local Wal-Mart a total of one time since January. They sell cases of the stuff before it hits the shelves!

"big decline"? Seriously? You mean that big 0.6% plunge we've seen the past couple of days? Guess we don't work in the same margins! 5% or 10% is a big decline to me.
