First let me add my thanks for another brilliant analysis. I am curious regarding your average holding period per investment and how you deal with the tax gains (or losses). I am 75, and barring something unexpected, I have planned to keep these indefinitely, allowing my heirs to inherit the stepped up basis. I would appreciate your further comments.
It appears that the "comment" you received must have been very inciteful to trigger such an in depth analysis of a complex financial transaction. Kudos your excellent article(s).
Rising Stocks And The Wealthy Insiders Buying Them Up [View article]
I have followed OPK for several years because of the rather constant buying buy Frost or one of his other investment entities. Who is on the other side of these transactions? Why should he be buying up a daily fraction of the number of shares he or his other investment entities already own? When will the insiders begin to unload on the unwitting public? This doesn't pass the smell test.

My experience in running a $5m Pension Plan leads me to believe a dividend cut is in the offing. We hold a significant position in FTR and have just been through a dividend cut in TEF which is by far a larger and financially stronger company which is being tainted by the European fiasco. Never- the- less, if it sounds too good to be true...... you know the rest. I appreciate the effort that went into this analysis, but all that energy won't work if the financials don't work.
