Mittals have declared a fixed quarterly dividend before merging with Arcelore. They increased the quarterly dividend amount to please some of the Arcelore share holders and to make the merger proposal more attractive. It is difficult to understand your concern. You seem to suggest that this is some what fishy!

what happened to the comment I entered about IIF. You did not calculate the return correctly. IIF and IFN had a substatial cash and divident distribution.
