Maybe democrats should approve the pipeline like they did Obamacare, without reading it. "We have to pass it to know whats in it"

  • Wall Street Breakfast: Euro Drops To Fresh 11-Year Low [View article]
"That's because they cannot afford big-time payments like that on minimum-wage jobs. Their cup of Starbucks is the only representation they have as being an "adult" because they can't afford the real items on their depressed salaries. "

And yet the CEOs want to bring in more visa workers to fill their STEM jobs and trade jobs are understaffed. :\ Perhaps people need to realize that taking the easy road to get a worthless degree does not guarantee them a high paying job or any job at all.

  • Wall Street Breakfast: Euro Drops To Fresh 11-Year Low [View article]
Most days I drink coffee at home. Every so often my wife and I go on a date there once we drop the kids off at school. Starbucks is a treat, most people can't afford to drink it everyday, especially their designer drinks.

  • Intel Will Beat The S&P 500 In 2015 [View article]
I don't have issues with the growth rate of Intel for 2015. My worry is the margin compression as profits switch from the old 22nm line to the 14nm line. All that depreciating equipment is bound to push GM lower.

  • Is Las Vegas Sands Worth A Leap Of Faith Right Now? A Resounding Yes Vote Here [View article]
I really don't like what I've seen Las Vegas turn into over the last 16 years I've been going. I've seen beaten up homeless asleep on the bridges between casinos, drunk men offering to let me kick them in the privates as hard as I want for $20, hustlers doing the 3 card monte scam right outside casinos. I'm not going to say Vegas is dead, but it has lost a lot of its original draw for me. I routinely get offered comp'd rooms and I live only 6 hours away. Some day I would like to visit Macau and see what it is like, just to compare it to Vegas.

  • PC sales better than expected; Apple's share tops 7% [View news story]
"Any tech savvy young person has to have a Mac." Any tech minded person will most likely run a Linux based PC. Mac and tech savvy do not belong in the same sentence.

  • GM's 200-Mile Electric Car For $30,000: RIP Tesla [View article]
I believe the high stock price has more to do with expectation to grow revenue. Tesla has the ability to grow revenue a lot faster than say GM. Will they? who knows. I personally believe they will continue to grow. One article has their sales for Dec 2014 @ 3500. That's 42,000 cars a year, or more than double the 20,442 sold in 2013. Is any other established car company going to double their sales in one year?

  • GM's 200-Mile Electric Car For $30,000: RIP Tesla [View article]
"What happens when you get stuck in a traffic jam with 120 degree temps? Or a blizzard with -10 degree temps? One you can survive, one you can't"

The human body can survive easily in both conditions with the right clothing. I live in AZ and regularly drive with my windows open.

  • GM's 200-Mile Electric Car For $30,000: RIP Tesla [View article]
"Either way, Tesla remains in the lead, according to projected figures, in all but sales. "

A better way to look at it is which car company sells 100% of the cars they make. Until Tesla stops selling 100% of their inventory, I will remain bullish.

GM has a car people can touch, too bad there are no batteries to put inside it en mass.
