Is Oil a Bubble? Part 3
I agree with user206943. Any amount of domestic exploration and production will not end the speculation and high prices that the oil cartel enjoys. Letting these companies merge was a big mistake. Now they want to use the high prices to wreck our environment and you're shilling for those rascals.

More solar and wind powered energy and a big tax on gasoline to help these industries (not owned) by big oil is the answer.

      What's Behind the Market's Rise?
You're spot on in your assessment. The liquidity provided by the Fed has been to help the brokerage houses prop up the stock market and postpone the inevitable collapse. Expect that to happen after the elections in November! The higher the top the harder the drop!

      Is Solar Power Inherently Deflationary?
Well written article. The Fed, ever since Paul Volker has been focused too much on monetary policy to "steer" the economy - like steering a large oil tanker and turning it around using micrometer type controls.

The article correctly points out that a consistent public policy is mandatory to shifting our dependence to Solar, WInd and other alternative means of power generation. Localized generation and usage will ultimately get people off the grid with (home) solar generated power fueling electric vehicles.

Beware of the Solar Stock Fad
Yeah, these high PE stocks may go up 50 points in one day but can go down as much in a matter of hours! Caution is highly necessary!

First Solar: Terrific Earnings, But Enormous Multiple
The article is based on a very sound analysis. The one day $50 upward move can easily be replaced by an equal move downward. Shorting this stock is a good idea but timing is important.
