The Government's Job Plan: The Blind Leading the Clueless

Here we are with a government who overspent in the trillions, about to overspend in the trillions again to stimulate the economy by getting us further in debt, then being told the banks don't want to lend the 350 billion gift given for toxic deals that nobody wants to identify, or can't value, or can't identify...then eveything will be OK.

Did it ever occur to those encouraging more and more stimuluous that the whole concept is rediculous? Governments don't create jobs. They only spend money from people who create jobs. Give me a break!

Our savior Obama is headed in the wrong direction. If he wants to be like Lincoln, he should listen to what Lincoln says: "Governments gets in trouble when it spends more than it earns." Duhh

What Happened to the American Dream?

You hit the nail on the head. What you said is all true and could not be stated better. Unfortunatly our leaders could care less. You are a nobody like me just trying to squeak in a few insights of truth before the next shoe falls.

The only thing you forgot is the truth that Washington, Franklin, Lincoln, Jefferson, Madison and other of our great leaders relied on when the chips were down. They relied on a God which they believed was real, not some fairy tail or flawed religious church. And they prayed. All were prayer warriers.

Need I say more. Only when God intervenes directly will America be restored to its roots. "In God We Trust" is our motto, but our mantra is "Me First". The squeeky wheel gets the grease. The rest of us get screwed. How stupid to trust those that betray and hate God.

Your comments have caused many gurus to rise from their cloistered positions. Don't forget the guru of gurus, Henry Kissinger, who said that when you control petrolum you control da economy, and when you control food you control da people. Maybe we should listen to him as his plans for controlled starvation are now in effect in many parts of the world. When the Chinese were slaughtering their own citizens in Tienemen Square, Kissinger also said on public TV...vell, ve must have law and order first. So now dat da market is headed for da toilet, vell...where is Henry? All I know is that my favorite guru, Chris Laird, moved his operation to a small farm in Kansas away from the maddening crowd. That tells me more of what is about to happen then all you gurus.
