  • The Future of Internet Is Mobile [View article]
A headline that not only grabs your attention but it also true. That is refreshing. Mobile is appealing to advertisers who can pick their audience based upon a GPS reporting where the viewer is currently located.

  • With Tasks, Google Raises Stakes Against Outlook [View article]
The concept of moving all to the cloud is like making the claim that with restaurants and pizza delivery, home kitchen appliances are no longer needed. This claim would only makes sense to the pizza delivery person.

I use the cloud for backup, and it has come in handy many times, but I sometimes use my local CPU, memory, and Harddrive. I suppose that would be value combo meal Number 1.

  • Ballmer Needs to Live Up to the Hype [View article]
Ballmer has done a great job generating a better income statement and balance sheet. That is not reflected in the share price because the P/E ratio has collasped. He was able to do this great job while not getting the free ride of a skyrocketing stock price to keep morale high that the previous mgmt had working for them.

  • Google Extends Its Web Search Lead [View article]
Google is the king of the hill identical to Microsoft DOS. If GOOG cannot branch into other areas, they will eventually be spoken of in the same tense as MS-DOS. This will take the unimaginable to happen, but unimaginable is what the future is.

  • It's Official: Jerry Yang Has Won [View article]
You knew your own bias because almost all your ideas included a disclaimer that started with "don't get me wrong" Your final gratuity to Yang was all insults to others. All emotion and little logic. I'm sure your sermon worked with the choir.

  • Yahoo's Jerry Yang: We're Done [View article]
If i were a stakeholder in Yahoo, this article would be very disconcerting for me. When the www game changes again, can Google also change or is Google going to stay a one-hit-wonder?

  • Is Yahoo! Bluffing Microsoft? [View article]
This is getting more tragic by the minute. If you want to talk about holes, how about the hole of unrealistic projections. I suppose we are seeing why Yahoo! is in the mess it's in. Managment says: "Let's project ourselves out of this mess" I assuming they meant Astral Projection.

  • Is Microsoft Really Such a Compelling Buy? [View article]
"however, that CEO Steve Ballmer is adamantly opposed to even considering this."

Yes, ego is what does scare me as their previous success would lead to strong feelings; nevertheless, a flat 5-year stock price has possibly brought some people back down to earth.

This is where your imagination fails you.
