  • 3 Reasons To Be Cautious About Tesla Motors [View article]
wont the decrease in eco credit sales be offset by the expansion of sales into asia and europe though? also, as production grows, wont the cost of production decrease over time? and in the future, this technology will trickle down into lower end models. from my understand the supercharger network also feeds electricity into the grid and they do make a little money from that as well. this may be my bias towards the company (i happen to love tesla and i own shares), but i think they are turning the automotive industry upside down and haven't buckled under the pressure of big oil

  • The Innovator's Trap - Inevitably, Tesla Will Face The Same Fate As Apple [View article]
wow this is a pretty biased article. i have the utmost confidence in tesla. you may call samsung a me too product, but they have been manufacturing phones and smartphones long before apple. and contrary to your beliefs, samsung does continue to innovate. it's apple that is the "me too". as far as tesla and the "me too" competitors, did you forget fisker? that was a plug in hybrid and failed.

  • Microsoft: Where Will The Growth Come From? [View article]
i think once amd ships their temash chips, we'll be seeing some some more microsoft tablets shipping. pc sales may have declined, but full fledged windows tablets with fantastic battery life could provide some serious competition to android tablets and ipads. if you had comparable battery life, wouldn't you want a windows tablet that you can use as a desktop at home (with a desktop dock of course). i know i would. i would ditch my android tablet in a heartbeat for productivity. i like the metro ui, but i think ditching the start button in desktop mode was a huge mistake. windows rt was a huge mistake as well. arm is set to release x64 chips as well, which could be very interesting.

i would also like to say, ballmer needs to go. he is stubborn and does wants to give the consumer what HE thinks they want, not what the CONSUMER wants.

  • Whither Windows RT: Should Microsoft Let It Wither? [View article]
i think with the upcoming low power temash chips from amd, and the quadcore atom processors, rt should just die. it was a mistake. you can pay the same price for a full fledged windows tablet. why would you want a crippled windows tablet? especially when you have options like the kindle fire and the nexus tablets for such a low price.
