  • Fleet Economics And The Underestimation Of Chinese Tesla Demand [View article]
Great article! I was getting bored of the repetitive, low-content articles about TESLA out there. Not to speak about the negative manipulative articles that always seem to proliferate in the weeks before earnings. Finally some new info. Keep writing.

  • 3 Billion Reasons Why Tesla's Gigafactory Will Be A Bloodbath [View article]
I've been reading about TSLA bubble bursting since it was in the 30s.
Well - thus far it has not burst. Because Tesla is transforming as a company and is disruptive.

  • 3 Billion Reasons Why Tesla's Gigafactory Will Be A Bloodbath [View article]
As I recall Mr. Petersen correctly predicted that Tesla will have a battery shortage and will need a Gigafactory to meet the needs of increased production.

Now that Tesla is doing exactly that, Petersen criticizes that too. Can someone say you do not have an Anti-Tesla bias? This is how authors lose credibility....

bwmaki - So, apart from dollar benefits to the solar owner, you do not see an environmental benefit to all (especially with sooo many coal fired high-polluting plants in the US?)

  • The American Power Grid And The Economics And Greenness Of Tesla's Luxury Electric Vehicles [View article]
By the way, I read a recent article on how utilities fight back solar, which they already start seeing as a threat. Especially in Hawaii where the rates are horrendous. Read it at http://buswk.co/1cf7vFy The latest utility gimmick is that with soooo many solar installations the grid becomes overloaded.. I do not buy it as an electrical engineer myself, but politicians may...

  • A Big Threat That Tesla Investors Shouldn't Ignore [View article]
If people worry about battery fire today, what about a hydrogen tank explosion. That will be fatal not only for those in the car but also those in the neighborhood....

Great article. Finally people are starting to look at the energy sources powering the grid. Apart from the changes happening, there will of course also be the solar part of Superchargers and the game change the Solar City-Tesla alliance is supposed to bring.

  • Tesla's Q3 Report Is Nowhere Close To As Bad As The Market Is Making It Seem [View article]
Fully agree with what you're saying, pkaral. I listened to the conference yesterday, and my impression was that there was understatement all along, since Musk (responsively) wants to reduce the hype. Let us also not forget that Tesla is embarked in a strong (and costly) expansion (superchargers, the assembly plant in Holland, the show rooms popping up in Europe, etc). While this is remarkable for this small company, it also bodes well for the future. It is a great plan, and one that will bare fruits, no doubt. While there was no official announcement, it seemed pretty clear that Musk has plans for a Giga cell factory as a way to deal decisively with the battery constraint issues. All calls for a LONG position, and the time to buy is on the momentum dip.

  • Tesla Isn't Disruptive Nor Will It Be The Next Apple [View article]
You guys do not get it.
It is lethal to leave an ICE running in the garage for that long a time.
Trust me, an ICE will lose and lose big on many fronts compared to an EV (quietness of operation, torque, trunk space, comfort of ride, carbon foot print, cost of operation/maintenance, cost of fuel, repairs)

  • Tesla's Path To A Conservative $500 Per Share [View article]
999 are you speechless also when you read patently false news spread by bears and market manipulators?

So now the second fire occurred because this time the driver was drunk and plowed into wall and then a tree at high speed. Where are the news here except it was a Tesla. How many ICEs do this every day, how many people die in car fires every year? So far 2-for-2 driver escapes and wants to get another Tesla. Enough said!

Wait a min "Logical Thought". Have you seen ICE fires? Those do burn to the ground, as you say. Tesla seems much more resilient. Where is your logical thought?
