    Dividends are a great source for deciding on stocks to purchase. The down side is taxes and can the company continue giving dividends in a down economy. Many have cut dividends for needed cash.

    Two means of reinvesting dividends. One have a broker and have all dividends come into a single pot and use that to purchase the best available stock. Or two (my preferred method), use the stock's transfer agent. Most reinvestments are done at company expense. or at least only a few cents.

    I agree with your RTM. The markets tend to overshoot and those sectors that have fallen the farthest will come back the most. The question is which sectors will comeback the fastest. D/C is one measure for stocks. What about cash flow in the tight lending market?

    What happens to the generics when big pharma moves further into the field of the after market? If generics is the wave of the future, you need someone to R&D the brand name first. Generics are best profit margins for the drug stores like WAG and CVS.
