    The House bill surely will have a lot of political fallout come next November. The elections in NJ and Virginia should have been a wake up call. Let's see what the Senate does. Ofcourse, is healthcare more important than the 10.2% unemployment. What about the Cap & Tax. Healthcare is the third rail.

    The government has hiring freezes to do layoffs. So as people retire or leave government service, they can only be replaced by people who have lost their position (not their job). So if you don't need a plumber's service any more you delete the slot. The plumber is then force feed into available vacant slots. If it is a lower paying position, no problem as the plumber has a save pay provision for several years.

    What happens to the generics when big pharma moves further into the field of the after market? If generics is the wave of the future, you need someone to R&D the brand name first. Generics are best profit margins for the drug stores like WAG and CVS.
