      Apple's iPhone: Home Court Advantage
Another pumper on work here. A PR guy.

Apple will sell for $90 in January. Mark my words. Not a single soul is going to buy iphone for $545 in India. You get better phones almost free in India. And, there will be cheap iphone clones popping up everywhere in India and China soon. In Europe itself iphones are not selling and carriers are slashing prices. Asia will be a colossal failure.

This is what we heard during dot com days Mr.Apple Pumper. Pumpers were saying at that time "Conventional wisdom does not apply. Enonomic model is different"- blah, blah BS! We all know what happened finally. But I am sure you would make money before things go south.

Contrary to Some Opinions, Apple Doesn't Do Loss Leaders
So, is this the same Carl Howe who opinioned that iphone is going to take over the world because he was able to browse the web thro' iphone from church? Irrespective of whether Apple slashes its prices or not, it is in a difficult situation. If Apple wants a high margin of around 34% for consumer products, it is living in its own world. What is the price of a walkman today and what was it 10 yrs back? Same thing will happen to MP3 players. The option is between devil and deep sea for Apple. As, I said before, if Apple lowers the price of oits products, its stock will go down because of margin reduction. If it does not lower the price of its products, competition will dump cheap alternatives and Apple will be toast. Apple pumpers have to take a U turn soon. They will do that just after dumping their holdings on this stock.

iPhones Sell Themselves in Everyday Tasks
      Here is the link blogs.wsj.com/biztech/.../

Apple is making products with approaches that are considered useless by the world. Then it hypes with people like the author of this article to boost its stock price. One example of discarded idea is the touch interface (They have lawsuits for even that because they copy). Making PCs without expansion slot is another discarded idea. The latest I heard is that they are workin on tablet PC which was introduced by Microsoft 15 yrs back.

The author was able to do a web search at market and check weather on a sunday prayer. And how much he pays for it? He pays $841 to Apple and much more to AT&T. iphone is a huge flop in Europe.

Contrary to what the author says, WSJ carried out an article saying that the touch interface is hard and error prone for typing. iphone is a toy. You can listen to songs, check wheather, make calls etc. When it comes to browsing or typing letters, it sucks big time.

      Apple’s Momentum Will Continue
Indians and Chinese may buy alternative cheap MP3 players in the market instead of the expensive ipods. iphone is a flop in Europe and will be a bigger flop in Asia. In Europe, Vodafone is giving Nokia N80 free. BTW, N80 has better rating than iphone in CNET review. Apple is making money now on PCs. PC market is undergoing an upturn as evidenced by the result of HP. Otherwise, iphone is a flop outside US and ipod market is saturating. This stock is up on momentum and will go down once the momentum wanes.

Cisco Sell-off Puts Apple at a Discount
According to you, the lower sales in Germany and UK is because of the lowere population there. US Population is 300 mil and German population is 82 mil according to you. 300/82 = 3.66
270K iphones sold in US verses 10000 sold in Germany gives 270/10 = 27. Even if we assume 20K phones sold during the entire weekend 270K/20K = 13.5

Where is 3.6 and where is 13.5?

And for this, you call the other person an idiot and lunatic. Then what are you? Ha Ha!!!!

Cisco Sell-off Puts Apple at a Discount
Okay, wise guy! Tell me on thing. Apple is selling PCs for the last 20+ yrs. It is not able to cross the 3% marketshare limit in PC market for all those yrs. By your logic, it should have doubled, quadrupled and should have 100% market share by now. Why it is reeling under 3% marketshare for ever? What makes you think it is going to suddenly conquer the world? Just because its stock price went up to $190?

Cell phone market is very tough. Apple is charging $400 in US and around $580 in Europe for phones whereas other players throw away their phones almost free. If Apple cannot gain more than 3% marketshare in its core business, how do you expect it to grow market share against Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson who are in the business for 20+ yrs? Cellphone market is not MP3 player market. There are very very strong gorillas in the cell phone market. And don't forget Google is coming out with mobile OS and change the game towards further cheaper phones.

Regarding the press, loyal following - have seen it and know how it all ends. Remember Exodus? Remember JDSU? They had more press than Apple.
