Dendreon's Provenge Is Scientifically Intriguing but Commercially Nonsensical

someone said "No one will pay 50-80k for 4 months of life. Save it for a nice funeral and leave a little for the kids"
all i can say is: really? i bet if you were in this situation, you'll give up all your earthly belongings just to have one MINUTE more with your kids. think about it, are those green pieces of paper really worth ANY amount of time of your life?

"Certainly not before the April 28 meeting, which is likely to bump the stock to my $30 present value."
well, April 28 has come and gone... and not only did the stock had a rollercoaster ride crazy enough to induce prostrate cancer, it's still nowhere near $30.

let me change my previous post. this article attempts to predict a share price of $30 for a projected revenue of $1.5 billion 15 YEARS into the future... do you realize how crazy that sounds? 15 years into the future? nobody can even predict if CitiGroup will survive in the next 12 months!

this is bordering on WILD speculation. everything on this article hinges on a prediction over 15 years!!! if nobody predicted the current bloody mess three years ago, how could you even hope to predict what will happen 15 years from now?
Here's a simpler scenario: Since the downside cannot go more than 100%, while the upside can exceed 100%, if you buy both long and short of the ETFs that follow the same index (ex.: FAS and FAZ), you'd either end up even (minus a small commission) OR in profit. That's on a daily basis, since these reset daily. The net should be small but if you do it often enough, it should be profitable in the long run.

AIG Bonus Imbroglio: $165 Million vs. $165 Billion [View article]
I say: PUBLISH the names of those who did NOT return the bonuses. And for those who grabbed the bonuses and LEFT the company (when the bonuses were supposed to be given to retain them), I say publish their ADDRESSES as well. I'm sure there's nothing on those contracts against making the recipients' information public. With their millions, I'm sure they can afford to hire bodyguards -- preferably the unemployed Blackwater mercenaries.
So that there is no confusion on bonuses as "part" of compensation package or performance related, my suggestion below is only for those AIG execs who received in excess of a million dollars.
