MAIN STREET BAILOUT IS WHAT WE NEED
Its important to save main street instead of wall street brokerage houses...the supply and demand for the toxic paper will eventually reach a equilibrium without a bailout....what the country needs now is to get M1 on the move upward and that requires a return to fundamentals...reduce taxes, lower energy prices, adequate jobs for whoever wants to work. This is the Main Street Bailout that will answer all questions going forward.

In the long and short run the only thing that will save this market is to get M1 moving again and this means less tax and more jobs and lower prices for energy. The bailout is to help the losers on wall street and make main street losers. WE HAVE TO HELP MAIN STREET...BOTTOMS UP ECONOMY FOR A CHANGE INSTEAD OF HELPING THE TOP DOGS...THEY SCREWED THEMSELVES BECAUSE OF THEIR GREED.

Bailing out wall street to save main street is absolutely rediculous. We need a bottoms up approch...if we help the guy on main street, wall street will survive. The bailout will do nothing nothing nothing for the country unless we can get M1 to start skyrocketing...jobs jobs jobs...fiscal policy fiscal policy and more fiscal policy...that is tax breaks for the average guy. The bailout will just cause a continuation of the failed Bush Economy and hurt us more in the long run.

      Market Safe Havens Rapidly Dwindling
After reading this there is nothing to say but I have a big mouth anyway...Its too bad this has happened and it could have been prevented a few years back by increasing interest rates way back when...country screwed its own people!! At this moment in time just keep in a cash position and do not chase any "inflation protection investments" because we haven"t had a big crunch yet and cash will still be king down the road when we can talk inflation...meanwhile hold on for the downward ride into a black hole...MarvinMBA

Believe it or not for the average guy in spite of banking problems a old fashion passbook account might make a lot of sense right at this junction.
Short term Treasuries also could make your dollars safe. I suppose for the more speculative gold/silver could hold some options. But I remember the old testament comment on gold "do not place your faith in gold" but that saying is 6000 years old....MarvinMBA
