S&P Set for 50%+ Gains? Not So Fast, UBS

A rally by any name now seems very far afield. Looking at the fundamentals, I would say we are in a Depression, not even the middle of one yet. Any rally not based on fundamentals is doomed to fail before it even gets its head above the water, not even climbing in the life boat. With job growth and unemployment and market destruction, both asset and paper, its going to hard to find the bucks for a cup of coffee let alone a rising stock market. The contrarian investors had their day when we had another economic model to work with but today the model is in shambles...for the near term and even the long term take whatever means it takes to get in a cash position in my opinion...MarvinMBA
