Copper Proves the Commodities Bull Isn't Over - Yet
I sold my PCU on May 2nd, last Friday. I made good money, but I had this sneaking suspicion that maybe I had sold it too early. But now I own more AUY. I hope that was a good decision. Nice article.

Will Starbuck's New Menu Satifsfy Investors?
All I know is that rather than making coffee at home today, I decided to go out for some and enjoy it in a coffee shop. But I waited too late. I was going to get hot coffee but the weather had warmed up, so I wanted ice coffee. Well, not all independent coffee shops have that, so though I am no fan of Starbucks, I do like the ice coffee somewhat. So, I pulled in, got out, went to the door. And the freakin' line was backed up to the door!!!

I asked myself, "Is it really THAT good?" Though I left not wanting to wait in line, it did make me feel like maybe Starbucks has bottomed out and is here to stay and grow. They made some mistakes, but the news of them not opening so many more stores in the U.S. makes VERY good sense to me.

I read that international sales are better and growing. If they can just get a billion or so Chinese to drink coffee, that would be a boon to them. Chinese do seem to like to smoke cigarettes, so I guess they will just love coffee once they try it, and get that buzz off the caffiene.

I might just buy some SBUX on Monday, while I drink my Dunkin' Donuts coffee made at home.

Good Times and Bad Times in Gold
I loved the tone of your article! I'll read more from you, if only for entertainment. But I do agree with you on whatever you said. I guess I do, because I just bought a bunch of Yamana on Friday afternoon. (More than I EVER have). So, I hope you are right. I hope you are "lucky" as the first commenter apparently believes is the only way anyone ever makes money on gold. I strongly disagree though. It seems to me that making money in gold is a fairly easy thing to do with fairly simple rules to follow. We'll see if I have even a peabrain in my head next week or so.
Regardless I really like the way you write. I like the attitude. Dave

Airlines Set to Rally on Oil Pullback
I would buy AAI, but then I already did. It's worth looking at, due to the fact that it dropped waayyyy too much and is surely going to come back at least part way. It's at 3.40 and I would think that a price of 4.75 is quite obtainable within a short time. I just wish it were me that were buying it now, rather than when I did. I'm sure AMR is a good buy too.

Should You Put Your Eggs in Cal-Maine's Basket?
Great article to help me better understand this business! I made great money on this stock a couple of weeks ago, but not planning on any long term investment. I was thinking of actually holding onto the stock for a while, but it seems that might not be such a good idea. So, you might have saved me all of the money I made on it so far.

Gold Stocks: Too Much Speculative Risk for My Taste
There sure are a lot of experts on here! All I think I know is that if China, India, and some of the rest of the world NEED more gold to make the lives of their people better, then it will continue to go up. The only thing I learned from reading this article(nothing there) and these posts is that it might just be a good time to buy timber companies, due to what that timberman said.

AirTran Delays Earnings by a Day: Flight Delay to Blame?
Why even write about this company when you say, "I do not know this company well, but a quick look.......". Though your guesses are possibly correct and the airline is getting into trouble. But if AAI is getting into deep trouble, then they ALL are. And people are going to be flying with SOME airline. And the airlines will adjust. AAI is well positioned to make adjustments to be competitive. But if panic is going to set in, then there's usually no stopping that, so, yeah, I suppose NO airline is worth buying now, even in the short run.

Bed Bath & Beyond: Time to Buy Retail
I know I'm commenting on this article way out in mid April, but since I owned BBBY several times and watched over 13 years how that area of goods in a good department store chain suffered the most, I wouldn't expect too much from this retailer too soon. However, as I write this, BBBY has come up some. I don't expect to see any 40 dollar price any time soon though.

      CALM Longs Walking on Eggshells
Great article and great comments too! I just made a bundle on CALM since April 1st, but own none now. I was wondering what I could expect from it for the rest of the spring into summer. So, James, anyone......can eggs be exported as a processed powder, like what restaurants often use? If so, then the demand and price for them WOULD probably go up. But I really don't know. I'm aking here. Thanks.

Wal-Mart: Another 20%-40% Upside in Store
I'm looking at what Walmart is doing around the world, not what they are doing in the U.S. Buying stocks is not a moral issue, unless the amount I own can change Walmart policy. The way I see it, Walmart is a well run company, with it's fiingers in China and many other countries and this will save it when the U.S. doesn't have any more money.

I hope Stephen Rosenman is correct! I'd love to see GS pick up the pieces and lose competition. Thinning the herd. It seems that there are way too many people trying to make a living acting like they manage funds anyway.
