Light Emitting Diodes: Rubicon Synthetically Creates World's Biggest Sapphire

I was in Best Buy recently looking at big screen TV's and compared Plasma, LCD and the new LED screens (from Samsung) and there was no comparison! The LED screen was far brighter, crisper and used 40% less power than the LCD units (they claimed). It did cost a few hundred more but it sure looked worth it to me!
