For what possible reason would the word "and" appear in that sentence? The infinitive form of the verb "build" is "to build", not "and build"......same as any other verb.

Mr. Sanmina may be handicapped by having to write his articles for Seeking Alpha in English, instead of his native language. Maybe he could get someone to proof-read future articles before submitting them.

Syntax-Brillian: Destroying Shareholder Confidence and Value

You would think that the author would proof-read an article like this before publishing it, but Edwin Climaco obviously did not. The many typos and other mistakes were a distraction. It was just a rehash of past events that shareholders remember all too well, with a couple of factual mistakes thrown in by Climaco. Better grammar would make him more credible.
