    No, you don't need extra, assorted words to litter such a blog posting such as 'that' and 'that' and 'so'. "That" would be superfluous. The article is efficient as written. The meaning is understood and the extra words, while not even necessary grammatically only serve to clutter the sentence and add no purpose or meaning. "That" is so overused, without any purpose - and that's a fact, Jack!

    Your choice of examples to show Buffett has lost money on his stocks is unfair - it's incomplete as you have not included when these "money-losing" "recent stock purchases" were purchased.

    I'm sure anyone who's recently been buying stocks in this past year will also show their portfolios down as well - be they big-time, famous, experienced, knowledgeable investors, (i.e. Buffett, Gates, whomever) right down to Joe-the-Small-Time-Inv...

    But Congress is not smart. So even if they did call in the Fed people to ask "Why?", they wouldn't know what to do with the answer.

    It's better it's practically given away at a fire sale then allowed to fail, which seems would be it's fate.

    It is another Enron and I worry for the employees that held BSC stock in their 401k's because they had to.

    This article mentions the rogue trader Kerviel as working at Credit Suisse, vice UBS, both Swiss banks. Kerviel was, in fact, an employee of Societe Generale, a French Bank. Swiss bankers are not that out of sorts now, are they? Mon Dieu!
