House Prices and Increasing Inventory [View article]
Let the "train wreck" continue! It's good news for me and thousands - if not millions - others. Good credit, down payment, strong income - my family deserves a HOME, and one that we don't have to sacrifice 50% of our monthly income for.
How Long Until the Housing Market Recovers? [View article]
Thank you, wez. You said it all. This guy has obviously not looked at the Orange County market here in Southern California. Homes are still WAY overpriced and have a long ways to go towards affordability.
From Housing to Employment: We're in Big Trouble [View article]
I cannot believe how many comments on here are "this won't happen, no way."
Denial is not a river in Egypt. Let me guess, how many of you postive thinkers are homeowners who bought at the top of the market, and simply don't want to face reality that you overpayed by a few hundred grand?
And who is the complete moron who actually said "The reality is that over 90% of homeowners do not need to move and will not take a loss on their homes"??
Time to move out of the cave you live in and deal with REALITY.
John the Bear - this is not a country based on Jesus Christ, why don't you keep your religious rants out of a topic/post they clearly do not belong????
Housing: After the Bust Comes the Freeze [View article]
He is dead wrong with his congratulations. Look at the other article found on patrick; the requirements for the rate freeze - the loan HAD TO HAVE BEEN MADE BETWEEN JANUARY 2007 AND JULY 2007.
This whole thing is laughable and it won't really help anybody.
U.S. Home Prices Go From Bad To Worse [View article]
I am so sick and G*damn tired of reading news titles likes this one: "house prices go from bad to worse" House prices BECOMING ONCE AGAIN AFFORDABLE FOR THE TYPICAL AMERICAN WHO HAS GOOD CREDIT, A DOWN PAYMENT, AND STABLE INCOME IS A BAD THING? What the heck is wrong with people? House prices became totally unaffordable and millions of people were literally priced OUT of the market, unless they wanted one of those ridiculous ARM's. My husband and I make just under $200K a year - have GREAT credit - and we can't afford a house, unless we are willing to fork over in excess of $4,000 a month. House prices coming down are the greatest thing that has happened in the housing market in 5 years. It's about time, and it is a BLESSING.
