Day trader whose strategy is based on arbitrages in preferred stocks and closed end funds. My group consists of 10 traders. We trade every single preferred stock or closed end fund that provides an arbitrage opportunity. Our research includes stocks that most of the people have not even heard. We have developed our own statistical tools that make most of our arbitrages statistically proven. As a trader I don't just analyse , I trade my analysis and pay the price when I am wrong. That is the main reason I respect opinions only when backed by taking the risk of being wrong.Words or opinions mean nothing in this business and the only person who is right about a certain situation is the one who makes money out of it.
I'm a Buffett Graham disciple with an MBA in finance analyzing the best value stocks for your portfolio. Some people don't like to look at the "cigarette butts" or the stocks that have been oversold and beaten up by Mr. Market, but I like to dig deep. Visit me for frequent posts!
I am a 29 year old father of three, active duty US Marine. I began investing with my retirement in mind and mostly focus on reliable dividend paying companies. I enjoy writing for Seeking Alpha to share my ideas and create discussions with fellow investors. I firmly believe that investing should be made more approachable to the masses and strive to keep my articles simple yet informative. Being on a "fixed" but stable income and lone "breadwinner" in the house creates interesting dynamics and greatly impacts my investing approach. I currently hold in no particular order:
PFE, CMI, AAPL, RTN, BAESY, NKE, UA, DIS, CSX, EMR, F, O, MO, UL, SBUX, EML, CGNX, HRC, DOW, XOM, T, VOD, CSCO, SYF, ORI, GLW, TATT, KTOS, JOUT, GLBL.
I like writing about all sorts of companies in all sorts of sectors. Recently I've been focusing my writing and even investing dollars on micro/small cap defense facing companies. I will always try to keep it simple and understandable, please hit "Follow" if you would like to read my articles in the future.

I am a full-time investor. I learned finance the old-fashioned way, out of necessity, during a career in the film and entertainment industry. I prefer to focus on long-term macro economic trends and demographics. Having identified an invest theme, I look for companies that most nearly fit my thesis. Then it is time to switch hats and become a traditional value investor, to ensure that the security is investment worthy and has a reasonable margin of safety.
