With MobileMe, Apple Bites Off More Than It Can Chew
Actually, I hope Steve sees his accountability in MobileMe's harsh startup.

After all, Steve is beyond real when leading a product introduction (Not meaning only the stagecraft, but the years of development and production readiness before the stagecraft.).

Now, he needs to really GET the cloud's realities. When you screw up email and such, you've made a major, perhaps catastrophic 'dent' in someone's universe.

If the previous cloud leader was overconfident and pushed to launch on iPhone 3G day, he has to deal with the harsh reality of his mistake and the impact it made in many people's lives. (Apple's reputation is a secondary hit.)

Steve needs to get someone (perhaps Steve himself) to manage the cloud stuff as well as Steve manages the products.

Obama Wants to 'Robin Hood' Exxon
If you keep on referring to Obama as "The Anointed One", will that sarcastic smear be enough to get Sen McCain elected?

Have you lost your minds? Do you think another 4 years of Republican leadership is good for this country? If you do, argue that. Stop with the sly bullshit.

Or some will start commenting on "Angry Mr Magoo".

Let's see now. America votes and people are thinking, "Should I vote for The Anointed One or Angry Mr Magoo?"

Hope you get my point. Let's get out of the gutter and seriously honor the choice we have to make this November.

      It's called good citizenship.

Regards and I mean no disrespect to Sen McCain or Sen Obama.

Would you write another article comparing Apple's Cash Flow numbers to other businesses? Much appreciated.

Apple TV or XBox: Which Is the Living Room Winner?
      Mathew!

"The AppleTV and the Xbox are about the same price at $350 or so..."

That's probably Canadian, but in the US we're paying $229.

The xBox weighs in at $400+ w/ hdmi (cable incl) and 120gb drive.

Apple Ups The Ante With 3G iPhone - But RIM's Almost Ready to Counter
How's Rim going to match the iPhone OS X and SDK?

OS X is Unix in your pocket including a history of development and maintenance going back 4 decades with contributions by the brightest all star computer scientists and developers throughout the journey.

Programming the SDK is as powerful as "programming for a desktop".

What does Rim base its development on?

      Game Over.

      Set.

      Match.

Apple Stalls, but Shorting Is Risky
      @jmmx

"It seems to me that investors are taking a "wait and see" attitude on the iPhone release. This is not really a bad idea if you are not an "Apple faithful" type."

If you google "iPhone" with: 3G, 2.0. SDK, GPS, Exchange, you'll know TODAY what will be true in the next 3 years.

The iPhone(s) will dominate SmartPhones. Why? Because all the others are only phones while the iPhone is a pocket computer platform capable of supporting extreme levels of security, application development, usability, functionality, internet access, and reliability.

Want to make over $1000/hr? Do the research and invest in the coming dominance of iPhone 2.0/3G...

A good pocket computer will kill any ordinary "smartphone"...

Well. Seems like you're not long Apple. As an exercise, post your comment on your fridge; date it; and then make sure you note the relative success of these phones and the iPhone this New Year's Eve.

IMHO Apple ought to be trading above 250 by then. Regards.

Apple's New Revenue Sharing Agreement Impresses Analysts
      @samij

"1. $199 iphone will seriously hurt ipod sales."

Apple enjoys cannibalizing it's own products. Yum yum. It'd rather have the meal than someone else. Another way to put the iPod/iPhone relationship is:

Millions of potential iPod/touch sales will end up being iPhone sales instead.

You realize that it makes no difference whether someone has an iPod/touch or an iPhone. They're still on the iPhone OS X platform and that's the one which will lead to Apple's dominance of mobile phones just as Windows dominated PCs.

Lots of dough in platform dominance, yes?

      An Oil-Driven Paradigm Shift?
Can we place our trust in the current (oil) leadership of the USA? Cheney forged an oil policy in cahoots w/ his oil brethren. He wanted ANWR, but never offered support of green energy as a GRAND compromise. If he had, we might have has a stronger green commitment alongside his ANWR and coastal oil fields.

Ever wonder why he never pitched this? Could be he sold the US out in favor of big oil.

Sorry. I'm getting way too cynical about him and George.

If Jobs is ill, I wish him the best and fastest return to health possible.

He inspires millions with the genius delight of Apple's creations and the savvy Apple uses to 'own' innovation in THE INNOVATION SECTOR.

He's an American original. God bless him.
