  • Boeing: Clear Skies Ahead  [View article]
Great article and think it is great! We love Boeing, finally they are over the major hurdles like the 787 failures & delays, and how many Sr Managers lost their jobs to inadequate capability unlike our team on the 777.
They were almost as bad as Lockheed-Martin for the JSF. Except isn't the 1-2 passenger-piloted Fighter jet slower than expected and how many times more expensive is aJSF F-35 compared to a 787??? Boy were we taxpayer suckers on a JSF Airplane planned in the 1980's...then let them run over us in cost & schedule over rides. Did you know every American if paid taxes would owe Lockheed Marin well over $200 - $1,000 per year to keep Lockheed alive. Do you feel you got your moneys worth?

  • Self-driving cars might seem 100 years away when considering how to solve the insurance pickle, but that's not stopping optimists like Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster from seeing the upside. The analyst cites the huge productivity gains and safety advantages that autonomous solutions could bring before making an exceedingly rosy forecast on the self-driving car timetable. Though the auto industry is beginning to increase their focus on R&D for self-driving technology, Google's passionate push in the area might have the efforts of interested automakers such as General Motors (GM), BMW (BAMXY.PK), Audi (VLKAY.PK), and Nissan (NSANY.OB) appearing small in its rear-view mirror.  [View news story]
It figures my pals @ GM still behind the times as we know Google already has been running for over a year! Maybe Tesla can beat them at this too...

  • A sobering thought for automakers circling around today is that gas mileage ratings need to be accurate or profits could be pinched. The development comes after Hyundai (HYMLF.PK) and Kia Motor (KIMTF.PK) tell U.S. senators they will allow owners of vehicles with overstated fuel economy ratings until the end of 2013 to file for compensation. The bill for the pair of Asian automakers could topple $100M each.  [View news story]

  • The right-to-work bill in Michigan awaiting Governor Snyder's signature won't have any impact on the bottom line of the Big Three anytime soon, but could pull at the thread of the organized labor movement in the state, according to analysts. With the unions able to flex their muscles with the Detroit automakers historically, the question now centers on if future labor negotiations could be influenced, if even just a shade?  [View news story]
The Union's have outlived their usefulness now it is time to take back our Country the US of A.

  • Android Is Dead - Part 2: Titans Clash  [View article]
Droid is still better and cheaper than I-phone. The reason I-phone is so big, is any dummy can work it (like an apple) & this is good.to hold off intelligent competition. Just like smoking pot keep's the competition away from us working in DoD jobs.

  • Ford Motor's Management Hosts U.S. Sales Conference Call (Transcript)  [View article]
I wanted to put an hub motor onto a turbocharger when I was at Honeywell designing Turbo's with variable vanes and we should add linear motors to control their positioning. This would be a tri-fold: improvement in !) volumetric efficiency along with adding to becoming a 2) electronic-supercharger when needed in addition to becoming a 3) regenerative hybrid generator for electrical. Then I add solar cells to the roof and we are good to go.
    Thank You & Merry Christmas,
    President
