  • Reputation Capital: Why Whole Foods Still Works [View article]
The ice age myth was driven by a few media outlets, not nearly the entire scientific establishment. You are worrying about the wrong thing.

Global cooling was not "the rage of settled science." That's a right wing created myth.

GM baffles me. Or rather, people do. Who would buy from a company that literally puts the value of human life as slightly above a dollar? I mean, shees, it should at least be something above 2 dollars.

  • Box office optimism after 'Guardians' stuns [View news story]
"an uninspiring film slate is the culprit." Well, I guess I'm that one person that was inspired. I thought this was the best summer for blockbusters in a long time. I've practically seen one IMAX movie per week since Winter Soldier came out, and few a non-IMAX movies (Apes and X-men), which I rarely do.

Try actually clicking the link. It's not a Twitter announcement. It's an interview on CNBC with Amit Daryanani.

I only bought Whole Foods because of Cramer shilling for it for the past year. Very disappointed.

"Whole Foods has nothing, other than premium prices, that differentiates it from the competition." Um, how is this different from Fresh Market?

  • 4 Terrific Reasons Why 3D Systems Is A Buy On The Pullback [View article]
I hope you're right. I think the announcement has to be a dud in order for things to turn around for DDD and SSYS. I'm just worried they've been quietly developing something for the past couple of years.

I believe what she said is that with respect to current 3d printers their speed is "like watching ice melt." She went on to say that HP has solved that problem. I'm not really interested whether or not they give their announcement in June or September. I'm more interested in knowing if it's true. Every time I bring it up on every article posted on SA, the authors evade or ignore the comment. This concerns me because I've already lost a lot of money on 3D, and I don't want to lose any more. It sounds like you're not concerned, but you have provided any info as to why you're not concerned - other than she got the date wrong.

Do you have any thoughts on Hewlett-Packard's "big technology" announcement that will allegedly solved the slow speeds associated with 3d printing?
